Yep Shark Tank is the US version of Dragon's Den. The BBC interview (unfortunately cut here) was based off of an actual error when the wrong person was interviewed.

Just so you know, Dragon's Den was first and both Shark Tank & Dragon's Den are actually spin-offs of the Japanese show Money Tigers. Just like American Idol is a spin-off of the UK's Pop Idol and AGT is a xpin-off of Britain's Got Talent.

Haha, I love The IT Crowd! My favourite episode is the one where they go to the theatre.
