Bro I play both football and basketball and trust me football is soo much harder to play, 22 men on a field that is 5x the size of a basketball court and I play defence and you don’t just stand around waiting you have to move as a unit press as a team and follow your man everywhere they go this shit isn’t easy and the people who usually do all the tricks are the ones who gets fouled the most because your not trying to get humiliated by them so the only way to stop them is either know what there going to do or kick them simple🤷🏼‍♂️I’m from MANCHESTER in the UK and I get to watch Ronaldo play week in and week out but basketball is my favourite sport but football was my first love for sport and I will always prefer to play football because it’s more challenging by a long shot

Right, don't understand why it's difficult to understand. Talent pool is also way greater than any other sport. It's a running game, no timeouts, nothing. Every game matters, because teams here are not franchises, they can actually get completely fucked if they perform badly, so there's more on the line. Obviously with 11 men on the pitch on both sides, it's going to be really difficult. You'll be able to get a lucky shot against a NBA player much easier than score a goal against a PL defender 1v1.

In football, u have to be constantly moving bc the ball is, the players have to be in good positions for a an attack or for defence, it all depends on the teams play styles aswell, some will go all out attack (defenders will be around the midfields or even just outside the opponent box) or some will be more defensive (not as much chances to score and the strikers(attackers) will be more defensive but if the chance comes to attack and they get blocked and get counter attacked they have to run back to around midfield to defend
