The tutorials on this channel are fantastic. I can have a really hard time grasping concepts sometimes, but the way the professors on this channel explain things is incredibly thorough and clear. Seriously, these videos are invaluable. Thanks!!

I learned a lot from MLC rigging playlist three years ago. I didn't knew whose this soothing voice was. I also literally binge on antCG tuts. It never occurred to me they're the same person. 😅

Is there any reason for using a Blinn shader in the rigging file , i watched the film texture course and we were using Arnold ai standard surface node. also i was following through the course and when i try to rig my file with the Arnold shader the textures are stretching all over the place, can someone tell me what i am doing wrong. thanks
@Autodesk_Maya3 жыл бұрын
He's just applying a Blinn temporarily while rigging, since it performs faster. Regarding the stretching, you'll need to apply UVs to your model in order for them to show up properly: kzbin.info/aero/PL8hZ6hQCGHMWa6pUtvnF62aYP6UFHHJvG

this is not a beginners tutorial. he skips a lot of stuff and his scripts are in a compiled form so i cant even see what they are doing. also he builds the rigs with major problems, then goes back to solve the problems later (like rig scaling). and sometimes he calls controls as joints which adds even more to the confusion. its helpful, but overall this is definitely not the best tutorial out there
