With this kind of tall and thick grass, I use 6 flexible blades trimmer head it is faster and smooth cut avoid hard objects such as blocks etc. Then follow up by nylon head trimmer for edges and more clean cut.

That man gets a badge of courage from me. Any guy that weed-whacks in shorts must like pain. I can't imagine how anyone but a masochist would do that. Of course, I've heard nasty things about the heat in parts of the south in summer. Maybe shorts is the lesser of two evils.

Ádám Nagy well the main reason he prefer that 322 cause it is the lightest 9.26 lbs. however I heard engine bogging down a lot and only have 22.5cc and 1.01hp. There new Husqvarna 525LK that weight under 10lbs like 9.92lbs and have 25.4cc and 1.34hp. That trimmer would be perfect 👌 for him. He does a lot of overgrown grasses. So I do a lot of that as well on residential and commercial properties and I use Husqvarna 525lst and same power and displacement but slightly heavier than 525LK

Ádám Nagy well that little overkill for that residential and commercial around building and houses 😁. But anyway below 1.2hp is residential levels. 1.2 to 1.4hp’s commercial levels and beyond 1.4hp like 1.6 to 2.3hp or higher is rugged commercial level/ heavy duty use

Your running the string to long bud your going to burn up the trimmer and not cut as good they will cut better with the guard off and a lil bit more string then factory but that's to long i grew up in a small engine shop. It happens all the time

My trimmers usually last about 4 years and prefer the string out that long. It's worth it to me if that's a short trimmer life. Been doing this 30 years. I do what makes me happy.

@@Something2LookAt o sorry I comented on the wrong video there was one close to this one I guess that had the title of why are my trimmers not lasting that's the one I meant to comment on. If you get 4 years out of yours using it commercially your doing pretty good. At the shop I had commercial guys running there line out 2 ft an burning them up in a hurry.

If you're wearing shorts,don't you get nicks on your legs from flying debris,when using the weed wacker on long weeds and brambles.

What type of trimmer line are you using?
@Something2LookAt
@Something2LookAt 4 жыл бұрын
I use some stuff that nobody uses, but it's great! It goes by the name of Pulverizer, made by Weed Warrior. Real tough stuff. I use it in the .105 thickness.
