I take the tenderloins out as soon as the deer is hung up, so I have easier access to get them out. So within an hour or two at most of the deer expiring, I've got them out and in the fridge ready to be eaten the next day. That's the way to do it. I usually just eat the tenderloins with a little salt/pepper, minced garlic and butter. But frying them like this is good too.

Thank god someone who knows the difference between a loin and a tenderloin. Thank you for that.....but deep fried tenderloin? I dont know about that.

+Ryan Dugger You got to try them deep fried. They are delicious.

Yeah, just about everyone calls the loin AKA "backstrap" the tenderloins. And pan fry just like he did is the best for the tenderloin.

Those are massive tenderloins. How large was that deer? I'm in SC and ours aren't quite that big.

Very tiny in my neck of the world. I hunt Mulies in Idaho. This has to be a white tail.

What’s wrong with frying?! He did great with the seasoning although didn’t marinate but still great! Although I’m in Florida and never had venison looking at this video encourages me to try it!

Parasite Alert Eating medium rare meat could cause Trichinosis. Trichinella worm lives in game animals Steven Rinella - MeatEater on his channel he spoke about how he got it just recently
@andrewendicott34069 жыл бұрын
+ckingclosur Just information for wild game lovers- most cases of Trichinosis comes from eating black bear...around 90% of the cases I think. That's how Steven Rinella got it.
@67_PowerStroke8 жыл бұрын
You can also get infections and disease from eating any kind of rare meat. You can also die on you way to work.... I'm betting you take those chances often.
@lefthandpathlovecraftian29276 жыл бұрын
cking_closure its not from eating it medium rare its because he hadnt fully done a check on the animal for that parasite and 145 degrees will kill most parasites and bacteria which is what medium rare is and ive ate deer meet literally straight from the bone uncooked just to test the quality and flavor of the meat along with its tenderness i appreciate your intentions but its best not to scare those into not trying something based off a single person who didnt check the deer properly
@lefthandpathlovecraftian29276 жыл бұрын
cking_closure and also deer meat has one of the lowest chances of getting trichinosis parasitic worms its mostly carnivorous animals whereas deer eat more of a herbaceous diet mostly nuts berries and leaves
@quantumaquatic17676 жыл бұрын
cking_closure dont eat a deer thats just a mile away from a Wal-Mart then

Why do ppl fry deermeat lol i am sure its good but is it to take the gameyness out or somthing? The bacon wrapped straps look more appealing to the eye
@ohioguy2152 жыл бұрын
Why do people wrap tender backstrap in bacon? If you want a bacon flavor...kill a hog.

Frying is for French fries, hush puppies, and bluegill fillets. Not deer tenderloins. SMH

Not in the south. :P
@67_PowerStroke8 жыл бұрын
Thats your opinion, but I believe it is the best way for tenderloin. You may be mistaking the tenderloin for the back strap.
@robertunversaw8 жыл бұрын
What's not a matter of opinion is venison tenderloins, which is what these are, could easily fetch over $30/lbs farm raised. Factor in the time, tags, and gear involved in a wild harvest and the value factor goes way up. No sane person would buy a rolls royce cut of meat at that price and deep fry it. I would agree that value is subjective but all I'm saying is something with that kind of value deserves a little more respect. There is no comparison between deep fried and pan seared medium rare tenderloins.
