I had the SE and the 12 mini. I gave up my 12 mini and regretted it. Thinking of no other phone but the mini but was unable to find a new one. My husband found one on Amazon and gave it to me for my birthday. This phone is my heart. I’m so happy to have a 12 mini again.

Quite a few dislike the 12 mini because of battery life, but i loved the mini series because i prefer smaller phones without them being SE bad for the outdated design. I'd say the biggest upside right now is the price. At least for me, I would be okay with the battery life with a magsafe case and charge pack. In my opinion, Apple should've kept making the mini line because some people like me don't want a heavy brick in their pocket.

I wish companies create small phones with great battery life, currently only few small phones exist and their battery life is not that kinda good, phones these days are so goddam big. Mine can't even fit in my goddam pocket

The battery life is fine to me. I’m only on my phone to make calls and texts. It’s perfect size since my pockets in my suits are small and these new big phones fall out easy.

the reasons i prefer this over the 13 mini: - Smart HDR toggle (starting with the 13s the toggle does not exist anymore, it’s consistently on) - image quality is much more realistic in color rather than constantly being overexposed, over-sharpened and over-processed vs 13 series and beyond due to the Smart HDR being ON always - the notch is proportional vs the 13 mini - 1 hour of extra battery life isnt worth the upgrade

@@vinniex5579 no. every iPhone up until the 12s have a toggle for HDR photos if you disable Auto HDR in iPhone 8 and X and Smart HDR from XS to 12, you get that toggle at the camera app. you cannot do that starting at 13s series as Smart HDR is permanently on.

The hdr literally kills the most perfect phone I’ve ever owned. I love my 13 mini, but it’s absurd I can’t turn hdr off which would allow me to take the best photos I’ve ever taken on a phone but without that, it makes the photos from my lg g4 come out better

@@Mejrfrog even the iPhone X or XS gives better photos than any iPhone that has Deep Fusion, i hate the overshapening and overediting that it does every damn time. my SE 1 sometimes takes better looking shots in daylight than this 12 mini lol

I love my 12 mini after change the battery with higher capacity well battery life increase a bit as I play games pubg and codm still it’s so nice for me will use it until apple release next mini model

I bought the 12 mini several years ago with the lowest possible specs because of my limited budget at that time. I love it! Still using it until now and hopefully it last until Apple decide to revive the mini series in the future.

Watching this on my 12 Mini Love this phone and as a runner this thing feels amazing in my pocket and doesn’t pull down my pants like my XR did. Yes the battery isn’t that great but it’s really not as bad as some people say. I’m a heavy user, constantly watching YT, listening to Music and Playing Games. I can go about 5 hours without a charge doing all my normal tasks.

Absolutely love my 12 mini. Was waiting for a small phone since the OG SE. Battery is on the way out but will get the battery replaced and should get another few years out of it or until Apple release another mini

I actually like my purple iPhone 12 mini. I even bought a plum colored mag safe case so now the colors are strange but I look at it as a joker phone. So ringtones and text tones and wallpapers are all joker themed.

i have an SE 3 64 gig but just ordered a used Mini 12 with 256 gig. I don''t thing going from the A15 to A14 will hurt much but the nicer screen and much more storage should be a help.

still using s4 mini with android 11 works super. i would buy iphone mini if it had normal screen without that edge on top, changeable battery and standard charging cable. also the sharp edges of the design feel uncomfortable in pants

I absolutely LOVE my iPhone 12 Mini, but what I don’t like is the battery life went down to 88% maximum capacity in under a year. So, I’ve made the decision to upgrade to an iPhone 15 Pro since it’s the closest thing without a home button I can get. I’m thinking about the Galaxy Z Flip5 but I’m not sure if I want to switch just yet.

Do you still daily drive that Google pixel 4? That thing looks crispy, love the look of that thing and never had a Google phone.. I had a windows phone back in the day can anyone believe that? Probably more unbelievable is that I loved it... Always wanted to be different and not have stuff everyone else had and I loved the Windows phone I had I don't remember the name but the UI was just cool to me being able to move those boxes around/group them up and change the size of them. Was def in the top 3 phones of my life.

I remember when I bought the SE when it came out. The next day I was outside in the sun and the screen dimmed so quickly. Within a minute of full brightness, it dimmed so much that I couldn’t see anything. Never pops up with the “temperature too high” message, so no, does not overheat, but gets pretty warm (even inside during the winter). But it’d be a lie for someone to say the 15 series and the SE are the only ones that get hot. All phones get warm, some react differently

It’s a regulation thing with the EU. We are yet to see if the radiation causes anything. Not even sure if it’s ionizing or non-ionizing radiation.

Better camera (HDR off), lighter weight, camera lens location is better cosmetically placed, costs less and camera can focus closer. Love the 12 mini!
