Call me crazy but the hairy monster with several hands that looks like a spider reminds me a bit of the ‘’faceless‘’ that appears in the movie ‘’Spirited Away‘’ by Ghibli Studios. Remember, when he gets corrupted by being in the bathhouse? The creature he turns into? And he also looks a bit like the first wild boar god at the beginning of the Princess Mononoke movie. Maybe it's an inspiration.

The giant baby monster just doesn't seem scary and the big theme of "normal things that are scary bc they're pushed through the perspective of a child" seems lost. Kids are scared of teachers and doctors and things under the bed and parent figures and what is in the meal they're being made to eat, not post apocalypse babies.

I'm assuming it'll be one of the first monsters we encounter in the game. It's a unique and interesting design for a monster, so it makes sense why they'd use it to grab people's attention. Maybe I'm looking too much into it. The game is still in pre-alpha state, so maybe this section of the game was the most finished to be playable at Gamescon this year.

These types of games, especially with Tarzier don't really do "Main" antagonists, they usually lean towards the world itself being the antagonist and you're trying to survive, the spider is most likely just one of the monsters whose dwelling the player stumbles into

This was always the original style of game they wanted but had to leave band for that reason due to the direction they wanted to go in so i think this game is going to be alot darker than there previous titles if you've seen from the beginning they showed certain drawings to band that were animals ect but they weren't feeling that art style so u ended up with Lnm 1 and 2 but hopefully this will blow people's mind s even more because it was there original art direction

Stunningly gross yet beautiful! In fact, I loved Diablo 1 and Diablo 2 and never played the newer games, because I didn't like the direction the franchise took. I think the thing that games like this entice me so much is because it actuvates the fear of the unknown as well as the fact we ARE NOT in any way dominant or on compariable levels on the foodchain.
