This is legit one of my favorite movies ever made. It's so visually impressive and it's all hand-drawn too! 7 damn years in the making. Story-wise it's not strong, but really that's not the point. It's meant to be super cheesy and over the top. Flopped in Japan unfortunately. The english dub is actually decent too

The sheer amount of detail and work that went into the movie alone is wild. The whole thing from start to finish was HAND DRAWN. That shit is crazy. Some of those shots I have no idea how they even managed to pull the effects off using hand drawn animations. Animators were flexing hard in this movie. Its a classic.

I have seen these movie a bunch of times so I will give some little details that might have escaped your eyes. 1) It`s possible Machinehead is related to Sonoshee in some way (personally I think he might be her father considering he knew about the platinum nitro) because in the restaurant she mentions waiting for someone when JP tries to join her, and when Machinehead enters the building you can notice she was standing up to call his attention. 2) Personally I believe the science dude from Roboworld might have been informing the guys from the Redline about certain things they needed to watch out for, and about putting the desintegrator cannons out of use but not unrepairable. I think he wanted to get rid of FunkyBoy because he was super calm during the whole mess, and considering all the info the Redline organizers had on the weapons around the planet there must have been a mole. 3) Frisbee has 2 thumbs per hand, and he has no pinky finger, its specially noticeable when he is holding the detonator. 4) the reason characters bleed or have blood go to their eyes is caused by the pressure on the body from going so fast 5) Guess you realized these one but the Superboins can use their magic on their own body to change it up to a certain extent, that`s why the tongue of one of them splits the tip in 2 and why the other one is able to inflate in a froglike way. Also I think their planet is all women not sure of these one or how it would work, which could explain a bit of why they are all so open about exposing their body.
