I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone complain about it because it’s a uncommon. The main reason why it’s looked down upon is the long startup for moves

@@xlgbesbloxer1988 No, its just cause of the huge power creep in this game. Main reasoning, the Shikai being uncommon means less dmg so the way people see it is uncommon = less dmg and bankai = better + makes up for that. Making that the only reason people would use this Shikai in any other case its pretty decent (except for obviously the long startup).

@@xlgbesbloxer1988 it's not downplayed, it really does suck compared to the newer shi, you said it yourself, powercreep. Sode shikai kit is incredibly inconsistent, since the beam has to be preaimed, so rarely are you landing it on a dashing opponent, and if you don't have vizard popped half the time you can't even follow up, the Z dash is, a self stun with no hyperarmour, that's so slow opponent can walk out of, yeah no the X move is op, very good, orgasmic even. the bankai: Z deals 0 damage, long range stun, decent only due m1 combo C deals 0 damage, long range stun, decent due m1 combo X is dogwater, and only nice damaging move in bankai essentially all your damage is coming from an m1 comobo off your kit, which in of itself, despite having lots of stun, isn't perfect for comboing and super nerfed ryujin jakka, with damage buffs built into it, as opposed to sode's damage nerfs, yeaaaaaaah it outclasses sode in almost every way

no it isn't, that's zanka no tachi, sode no shirayuki is the embodiment of "you're not using nozarashi? cry about it" that is, if you're good. Ice beam and ice dash move in shikai are the most inconsistent shii ever, this gal's just op. bankai also deals like 0 damage, so all your damage is coming from the combo which unfortunately isn't much
