Important!! BMW Bentley Manual states 77nm BUT the BMW TIS states 100nm for the Shock Absorber to the Trailing Arm torque spec. Remember torque should be applied with the car down (loaded). You have to put the yellow buffer inside of the black sleeve, first ridge needs to be firmly inside on the sleeve

I got kyb shocks, they came with an extra washer or spacer? Not sure if I have to use that or not, since I dont see it on your set up. Help, not sure where that would go in the assembly

Just like my shocks. Toasted. Installed new ones this morning. Btw Bmw states 100nm for the shock absorber to the trailing arm.

Thanks Crooked! I just rechecked the Bentley BMW Service Manual and says 77nm (57 ft lb). Where did you take the spec from?

G S me too! I take it the other torque spec is for compacts. When I initially loosened the shock bolt it was so tight on that 100nm seemed logical. Nevertheless 77nm would suffice 😁👍🏼furthermore, I dont want to be wisey about this, just sharing what I know,

Son las 3 Am y recién termino de hacer este trabajo. Justo hoy me llegaron los repuestos de ECS Tuning y no podía quedarme sin hacer nada, aunque lo pague con 3 horas de sueño antes de ir a trabajar 😅. Me llegó todo lo que respecta a admisión, y ya que desarmo todo ese lado del vano me gustaría cambiar los tacos de motor por temas de comodidad. En cuanto a estos tacos/patas de motor, lleva 2, son iguales? Veo que Lemförder sale como 100 lucas cada una, después hay una VTH que no le tengo fe porque sale 1/3 de eso... Me darías alguna recomendación?

Que manija!!! jajAJAj mirá son extremos, los lemforder son lo mejor y los VTH son verga, para zafar nomás. Te soy sincero. Fijate en FCP Euro porque deben tener más marcas quizas. Creo que ambos lados son iguales, estoy casi seguro, porque no recuerdo haber comprado distintos yo.

@@gsmecanica Sí, mejor encaro los Lemförder y a la bosta... Me falta comprar eso, refrigerante color verde, aceite quiero ponerle Mannol 5w40 sintético (ahora tiene Shell 10w40 semi, quiero probar otra cosa). En cuanto tenga todo me le meto dos o tres tardecitas que tenga libre para adelantar el refresh de admisión siguiendo tu video y de yapa le hago un service. Pero antes veré de scannearlo para chusmear los valores del STFT y LTFT para ver si hay variación antes y después del cambio como me habías recomendado. Muchas gracias Gonza. Un Saludo!

@@Francoupe Si me parece genial! Aprovechá para cambiar el sistema pcv que ya son viejos en estos motores y pueden traer problemas. Yo uso Motul 5w40 8100 porque cumple con la normal LL-04 de bmw, pero hay muchas otras marcas que la cumplen. Suerte!
