@ghostface92304 жыл бұрын
Both builds are unique in their own way Jimmy's k a is a pretty sweet build and is coming along great but he doesn't have the budget that throttle has so I think they're K swapped hatch will be the better car but both vehicles are amazing machines.
@shona55124 жыл бұрын
@@ghostface9230 Jimmy & Brian get shit done, I think they're also putting a roll cage in theirs. Two people building a custom car on their own with a tight budget will always be better than a shop building a car. Everyone loves an underdog.
@imnota4 жыл бұрын
@@ghostface9230 Budget doesn't make everything tho. Jimmy has the least budget but it is undeniable it will drive better, because the 240sx suspension is just so much more advanced and adapted for a rwd configuration. When it comes to engine stuff, yeah, Throtl's ek will be way better.
@familyoverland20824 жыл бұрын
My understanding from a fair amount of the gussets is because many rollcages require 6x6 foot plates, where as your would not match and in turn they have to come off of the unibody and the for additional strength they add the gusset plates. I think it depends on what the cage is being built for.

Mickey instead of having the collumn static drill holes in the side plate put one bolt thru the whole thing in the back and a high tension spring a washer and a nut weld a hanger of of it and boom to adjust height pull the bolt back and its spring loaded so match height level to the holes let the bolt go and it snaps in the plate setting the height you want.

I love your content so much. Is these weight reduction upgrades makes the difference of weight gained by the RWD setup? Because these Hondas are well known for their understeer issues 😅 So making it light won't affect the handling?

You just called majority of the Fabricators cop outs when all they're doing is following the direction that the customer wants and usually they want a bunch of gusset with holes in them I think that's pretty insulting that you said that. Can't judge us based on what the customer wants because I can do cages up to the frame of the car and also do a cage with what your calling ugly gussets. I always say to each their own. Because alot of my work that I do isn't my style but I still have to do it if I want to keep doing what I love and that's fabrication. Sorry went on a rant but keep up the great work love y'all content. Nothing but love.
