Also wanted to ask acc to indian climate,does the open bookshelf without a door protect your books from dust or turning yellow because I struggle a lot and also looking for a proper bookshelf to protect my books as well as accessible and properly visible.

Well yes it does get all dusty but then all I do is clean it up on timely basis and suites my liking ☺️💯 Furthermore I can't comment about a glass shelf as I don't own one🙆‍♀️. Hope this helps ❣️
