In general, If you can't stand playing co op with people who may bring an OP dps then you proabably should stick to playing solo with Amber for the challenge. Then again few people can actually play Amber and those of us who do, usually don't care who you bring in co op, just as long as you go "OMG AMBER!

the person who said all lobbies are neuvi and arle is so real but ever since kinich dropped i havent been able to find a SINGLE lobby that doesnt have kinich and mualani together and they dont synergise so its hard to support (usually as xiangling) but someone takes another hydro and were completely screwed (i say that with love)

This person handled the situation in the worst way possible but I do see where they're coming from. When I play co-op, I do it to play a variety of different teams with a variety of characters that I don't own but in reality 95% of the lobbies are just neuv + arle + flex + flex. This can get especially annoying in cases like when the rest of the team is trying to play chev overload and that one neuv player refuses to switch off. Best thing to do is to simply leave that lobby and not do what this person is doing. That said, please try to add some fun and creativity to co-op lobbies. Here are some of my favorite teams that I've run into in co-op Navia + Itto + Diluc + Xianyun (all plunging) Klee + Nahida + Venti + Jean (daycare disaster air fryer) Hu Tao + Kokomi + Qiqi + Jean (...at least we didn't die)

Well, yeah, stubborn people can be like that, but also they might not have a good build pyro or electro character to support the said Chevy team, or that character might be taken already by someone else, and so they stay on Neuv. Like my only built electros are Kuki and Fischl, and Benny and Xiangling from pyro side, but in most cases i do not like playing those characters, bc i do not prefer to see them on the screen all the time. As quick swap they're fine, but not for all-time on the field. And there're cases where half of them already booked by another player (like Benny or Kuki). That's why i would also choose some other characters in that situations. I understand your frustration, but you must consider all possibilities and be understandable of all players in the lobby. I remember once in one domain three of us also started from overload team, but one player didn't want to switch from Nahida, so the host being Chev changed to Nilou, and i chose Baizhu and third player quickly chose another hydro character (i don't remember whom exactly) and we played rare - Nilou team. But once i stumbled upon a player who basically forced me not to play character i wanted to play (Zhongli), bc i play with controller it's a rare occasion when i need to cancel the "ready" button or leave, so i pressed the wrong button and couldn't leave on time, but i didn't help with that domain either (that's how petty i am). No one should force anyone to play character they don't want to play or do not play characters they want to play.

Still, no one owes you entertainment outside of what they want to do when it comes to random co-op. It’s valid to think those things about characters and playstyles, but it simply goes against common co-op etiquette to expressly require anyone to do anything different from what they’re already doing. It’s a whole different thing if they were actually polite and asked nicely, instead of demanding and whining like a toddler being denied candy when they don’t get their way. People should be reminded every so often that in situations such as these, no one is ever obligated to go with their whims, no matter how justified they think those whims are.

then just dont use chev? even if you do use chev with characters like neuvi ur still gonna clear the domain so whats the point? the world doesnt revolve around them. people can and will use characters without any synergies just cuz they want to or for their namecard cuz u get 2x friendship xp in coop domains

I only play kokomi in coop. I SUCK at dodging bcs i’m almost blind and my zhongli is built a shielder and only c0, so no coop benefits. I decided loooong ago I was gonna be underleveled so I’m still fixing my account. I’ll hopefully be able to go furina before christmas, maybe even some kuki action, who knows. I just like playing healers xd

1:17 these two responses are why I can't ever respect this community... Neuvilette is EVERYWHERE in coop... It's impossible run away from him. Sometimes, people are just chilling and want to run a dps, then someone swaps to him then you're forced to run a team to help him, regardless if he's built or not (which is why you always see people normally swap furina in when he's in coop). You're telling me that if you don't like seeing him everywhere... You can't do coop? Just remember that the same people that call Neuvi "fun to play" are the same people that call units like Ganyu "boring".. even though they basically rely on the same type of attack to do damage.

Neuvillette's more self sufficient in his own damage than most other characters in the game, especially if a person has prototype amber on him to give extra healing to everyone else. Someone switching to him doesn't mean you have to play around him. What they meant was that if a person is offended over his mere presence, and someone else playing a character they don't care for is that upsetting that they have to bring down the mood of the entire co-op, then that person shouldn't co-op. Avoiding the nothing issues that causes you to not be happy is valid advice when the only other option, aka leaving people alone, isn't something that person is willing to do.

My point isn't that he's self sufficient. My point is that the moment you see him in coop, he's the priority for everyone else because of his dmg. I wouldn't say this if I didn't see him as much, but literally everytime you coop there's a high chance to see him. It's just gotten so stale to me, and cooping just feels one dimensional now. Everyone wants to use him every chance they get. Oh and also to respond to what you said I misunderstood, those two in this video harassed and bullied the original offender later in the video. Because the offender said something stupid, does it mean they should say something back?

And just because some people might switch their characters to better fit Neuvillette does not mean all players do or need to. No one is forcing anyone to do anything by playing the character. Those players are just being extra nice. Funny how you put down nice players just because "it's boring" but then say people should just turn the other cheek when a player, who is actually infamous in that domain for making fun of every Neuvillette player and does it in multiple co-ops, is ruining the vibe. No one is forcing anyone to do anything except Nalla, who is trying to bully people away from playing Neuvillette.

If one doesn't want certain characters in their co-op, build a group with friends one knows. If one doesn't want certain characters in their co-op, just don't co-op. If someone can fight, who cares who they're playing as? That character can be the most "mid" thing ever and it will not matter. As long as the boss dies/domain is cleared--who cares? Maybe I've been in MMOs for too long where you play what you want so long as the correct roles we need are fulfilled and you can do decent damage as a DPS. I've seen literal meme builds in raids that did better than we expected. The only way to get exactly the composition you want is to do it yourself solo, or shepherd a co-op in a discord call or something. Complaining that someone is a [character] main longer than the boss battle just makes you look bratty and childish. Log in. Fight. Get your loot. Go.

Ah the Nalla series XD. Being petty over Neuvi is silly. Don't get me wrong it is annoying seeing everyone flexing Neuvis and Arles but I don't get mad at them I just take a left turn and use other characters to work with neuvi and more mainstream characters. I get where Nalla is coming from but just insulting people like that is a faux pas. Hoyo will make new enemies and new threats that combat the meta and make people jump onto a new bandwagon. Thats just how it goes. Local legends in Natlan are a massive example of this. Danny uses a lot of non meta which I find interesting.
