Crate training is one of THE best things you can do for your dog. Ain’t no way my dogs be roaming my home when I’m not there, they love their crate, it is their safe space.

Wow… such a valuable bit of info for new dog owners. And yet clearly buried by the KZbin algorithm 👎 And it’s the dog who will suffer from owners not getting this info

Yep, we've rescued several dogs that needed major rehab work (history of dog on dog bites, fear aggression towards humans, resource guarding... all the 'good' stuff) and crate training is always one of the first things we do, it's such a vital part of the process, as is teaching dogs to chill out and relax, so many of the dogs my other half deals with through work (dog walking & behaviour work) just do not know how to wind down when she first starts working with them. Shame about this channels vids not getting more reach as they are good vids
