Midnight is most effective against Helga. Especially if you have crystalizer epic weapon of her's. Just use blink( health regeneration) and helga will be frozen instantly because the smite will hit us.

If you're struggling against someone who is spamming with the slowest character in the game, then maybe you're the problem... Bulwark is super slow, has very short range, and basically can't do anything against Heralds. Even against characters he's supposed to counter (like Shang), he can still get overwhelmed by their aggression, since he's so slow.

The basic attack spam of bulwark is disgusting, doesn't even matter if it's slow, that broken character has the unbreakable state implemented in him, is tanky and hard counters any shadow form. Literally, a 7 year old could play bulwark with the inevitability perk and the perk that gives unlimited fractures. Legit, the only way to counter bulwark is to camp (which is disgusting, but absolutely allowed whenever facing a spammer) but by the time you realize that your opponent is spamming, you will already have like 7-8 fractures, combine that with a bulwark hitting you with a special attack, half of his shadow form and a heavy attack or whatever else, and you will find yourself dead while barely taking his hp. His nerf isn't enough, that character is too easy to play and is too broken and there is literally nothing you could possibly say to change my mind.

He is by far the most overrated character in the game, because people don't know how to counter him. Or course he's gonna seem broken if you keep running headfirst into his basic attack over and over...

​@@babywizard9027you obviously got the irl skill issue, it doesn't matter that his basic attack is super slow, he has the unbreakable state and all he needs to do is get somewhat close to you so that the character gets to have his basic attack spammed with the inevitability perk, I just said this earlier, the only way to truly dodge his basic attack spam is to camp until the enemy attacks. What then, are you gonna wait until the countdown hits 0 and pray that you get a lucky hit in? That character is purely braindead, he can just sit there with his 8k hp or whatever his hp is and if he decides to spam, you are realistically not gonna be able to do anything about it most of the times, best case scenario is you blocking some hits, then what? He will eventually get a hit on you with 10 fractures and 1.5k hp of your hp simply dissapears.

@@xxdarkyanisxx3777 If a Bulwark is spamming basic attack, there are so many ways to counter it easily. First of all, the unbreakable state activates pretty late into the animation, so if you're close to him, you can just attack him with a fast move to interrupt his move before he becomes unbreakable. Second, if he's already unbreakable, you can simply walk back for a second to dodge the first and second hit, and then roll under the third hit to get a guaranteed grab. Third: there is a gap in the unbreakable state between the second and third hit where you can hit him and interrupt the attack. Fourth: If you're too far away to interrupt the basic attack before it comes out, then chances are you're also far enough to just dodge it with a back dash, and then quickly dash/roll forward after the third hit to get a guaranteed grab. Fifth: If you're at the very edge of his range, then you can just block the first two hits of the basic attack while holding back. The third hit will miss, giving you a guaranteed grab. Sixth: Bulwark's basic attack has a LOT of end lag. So if your opponent is just spamming it, then there will be a lot of opportunities for you to get an easy whiff punish. And this isn't even mentioning critical hits ignoring Bulwark's unbreakable state, or special moves like Triumph, Shining Dash, Rampage, Jingu, etc. Bulwark's basic attack has so many ways it can be countered, so instead of whining about it having "no counterplay", maybe learn the counterplay instead.
