Actually I knew about the called by, it was just for shit and giggles by randomly activating my negated hand traps, it was just to reduce my hand because playing on the phone screen with that hand was a nightmare. When I realized that I can deck out my opponent's deck I was just keep spamming my summons. Anyway it was a very funny duel and nice edits! Man, I hate Maxx-C! I wanna be able to build a board full of boss monsters with 5+ negates to see if my opponent is intelligent enough to get around them all. The fact that my opponent draws a card for each summon is bullshit cuz now they have more options and an unfair higher chance of erasing my hardwork effortlessly. That is not how you overcome an obstacle! Maxx-C needs to be gone. Evenly Matched should have never existed. Floodgates ruin the game. I want guaranteed combos without costs and I want to see my opponent beat my board with just the cards on their hand. No handholding whatsoever! There's nothing wrong with me playing cards for 20 minutes a turn. It's called strategizing and it's fair. If all my opponent does is just play 1-3 cards, that's on them. Skill issue. Better for me honestly.

Dude, this is complete and total gibberish- combo decks benefit just as much from Maxx C. Mathemech, Superheavy, and Mannadium can go neg 4 establishing their board only to Maxx C you immediately in your Standby Phase. If you didn't also open Maxx C, then you're playing through 4 or 5 interruptions and surrending card advantage with every summon. The card is objectively and indefensibly degenerate.

@@UncannyAura Maxx C has literally never been a healthy check against combo decks. They all run it at 3 and hope to see it in their opening hand even when going first. There's a reason it's banned in the TCG. It simply reduces each duel to a stupid mini game of either whoever resolves the roach first, or whoever builds their board before the roach resolves.

nah. maxx c need to stay banned. other than times when it was negated, maxx c only a generic card in duel involving non combo deck. however, in duel between combo deck, once it resolve, its a do or die situation for one facing it as they only got one of these option : -deck opponent out -do not play or do a suboptimal play and obliterated next turn -do full combos and still obliterated as opponent got too much hand advantage

This brings up a topic I discussed with my friend about Maxx C. Long story short, I wondered “what if Maxx C allowed both players to draw a card for each of the opponents summon?” It was a long discussion, and I’m not sure where we stand on it. (I brought it up because I know master duel isn’t going to hit anytime soon, despite the majority asking for its ban online.) I say that it actually involves risk and reward for both side and be more interesting in that sense. And this video gave a good example of that. What do you guys think?

You know there are a lot of bad decks that do require a lot of summoning to do the bare minimum. HERO's, Pendulums, Goukis etc meanwhile there's tons of meta/rogue decks that special summon less than 8 times Swordsoul, branded, Kashtira, Purrely, Labrynth. Even if there was a Maxx C for both players the majority of meta decks don't do as much summoning as non meta decks which means they get more draws while the other player gets less.

All Maxx C needs is this: (Quickie) U can send this card to your hand to the GY. Until the end phase: Whenever your opponent SS a monster draw 1 card. You can only activate this effect if u control no face up monsters.
