In my thirties now, l used to be frustrated and cry 😭😭😭 everyday asking God to give me a husband. But l realised that l was making a wrong prayer. God revealed to me that l have some issues of Childhood trauma which needs to be fixed before l get married. I realized that l had a faulty foundation which makes me think that I'm not good enough, l always stay in isolation, l avoid connecting with people because l always think those people will take advantage of me. I also had a lot of triggers which shows that l was still living my past. Now my prayer to God is for healing from all issues related to Childhood trauma. I believe l need to heal first before l start my own family.

@@aleciathomas6353 but not be baggers ppl of God don’t beg.We can be fervent in prayer in our faith in peace knowing he will answer with the blessing. There is a difference from pleading and begging in doubt and being anxious in fear bc they are not seeing the fruit of it and the person is getting older. If ppl are content in the single season and praying as the Spirit of God leads fervently in prayer that’s fine, but idolizing marriage in the single season and begging in fear becomes a delay bc ppl focus on the union rather the assignment and training prior before the union in peace ! There is a lesson and reason in every season of test begging is not 1 that of them but a knowing of faith as a person walks which births the blessing in the proper season that it happens and ppl miss that revelation, it’s soo much more than just the gift of marriage and wanting it and a lot of ppl miss that bc they idol marriage and get anxious and inpatient! I stated that bc many ppl on this post i can discern the Spirit of being anxious and in doubt which was why I left the comment

In my own opinion, delayed marriages or no marriage especially for ladies could also be due to lack of wisdom & counsel at the right time. Imagine if u are thoroughly educated about the necessity of marriage at age 18. The chances of clocking 30 years without being married may be reduced. But so many people are not aware, henceforth no guidance. Parents or guardians should educate their children & also pray for them at an early stage to avoid this trauma.

Even Jesus wasn't married, Paul as well said If possible you can save God more when single, however because of how carnal we are, a man should have a wife and a woman should have a man. Henceforth, marriage is ordained by God, and if it's meant to be, it will be. Yes, sometimes we block our own blessings because of our impossible expectations, and at times, evil spirits are there to block our marriages. We have to pray about it, but we need to refrain from being so desperate for marriage that at the end of the day, you get yourselves in toxic relationships, which were never meant to be. Pray about it, but don't stress on it because we serve a God who overcomes anything. If it means that he'll fight us from ourselves, really he'll do it.
