This is 100%. I recently needes UPS to deliver a package. It's a very long story, it took a month of phone calls. They don't want to let you talk to a rep, but I cracked the menu choices to get to a person. After 3 weeks they changes the menu and added extra steps to make it even harder to reach a person.

I worked at a call centre when iPhones were introduced. It was a nightmare. I wasn't given enough training to help people, so I would always escalate the call and transfer them to my supervisor. I didn't stay at that job long. My first raise was 5¢/hour, and that was the norm there. I now know why their turnover rate was so high. 😂 They even called me about 2 years after I quit, asking if I'd be interested in working for them again 🤦🏼♀️ but by this time I was already disabled, yet I asked for a reference letter from them and said I'd consider employment with them again if they could accommodate my needs for my disability. They agreed to the reference letter but I never did get it, which was too bad because I have letters of reference dating back from 1977. I would have framed it and hung it up on my bathroom wall if they had actually sent one. 😂

My brother once bought me a roundtrip ticket to another state so I could go to the house he owns there and transport an expensive piece of equipment he had back. Once I got to there, we got into a huge argument because he thought I damaged the car he had there also (I didn't) but he decided to get revenge on me he cancelled my return flight and left me stuck in the Philippines to find my own flight home. I later found out he paid the $100+ cancellation fee just to ensure I wouldn't still take the flight. Before, I never understood why people would cancel a flight and pay a massive cancellation fee instead of just missing the flight. I guess those cancellation fees are basically only used by the customer who bought the ticket for situations like mine. Needless to say, my brother and I have an interesting relationship.
