I started at the nursing home at 22hr as a new grad in California that was way too low. I worked there for 2 months before landing my case management job making 27.72hr starting with raised and with Benefits paid employer health insurance, sick time, pto, personal days and Employer paid dental insurance. After 2 years I’m making 30.43hr fulltime with benefits. I love it, I now work remotely From home since covid

@@francisfree5242 And being an LPN was enough for you to land a job as a case manager? I thought one would have to have a BSN or bachelor degree in human services etc. to work in case management, would you please clarify that for me? Thank you.

Today must be a special day. I have been confused for weeks because I have taken the Teas exam twice and failed. My advisor suggested that I sign up for the lpn program but because I want to be an RN I have been a blank canvas, that is until I saw your video on KZbin. You have opened my eyes to continue my quest of being a nurse. Thank you so much. I listened to every detail and explanations you put out there and all hit valid key points that I didn't pay attention to.

Same thing happened to me. Main goal was RN program and then they added more prerequisites. I switched schools and I had the necessary prerequisites for the LPN program the good thing is that in the same school I can complete a one year RN bridge program. Everything happens for a reason. There's many areas of nursing where you can stay away from blood and needles. You are likely to come in contact some times, and during school, but honestly when I worked in LTC I didn't see much blood; only when I checked blood glucose levels, which is very small amount.

I’ve been an LPN for 10 years and I am currently in second semester RN program. Do you think that it will be a little easier for me to get an RN job since I’m an LPN? Or will they still view me as a brand new nurse after RN school?
@merlinel38554 жыл бұрын
I would assume that since you have experience, especially 10 years, they’re gonna want you more than those who have less, or no prior experience.

My daughter did not get 16 on act test for LPN. What advice do you have?

I would recommend a strict study schedule and breaking her study sessions down into specific topics. Also, most of those tests allow you to see where you were lacking so she should study those topics especially.
