I like your way of thinking. Would it be possible to do a video on the design and performance of the rig?

Doesn't it suck when people try to sell you stuff yet rarely reply? Although complicated to sail, the _merlin rocket_ is a beautiful boat.

Been sailing FINN since 1977...The H2 looks Awesome...better than the Solo.😉

Finn, H2 and Solo - 3 very different dinghies to suit very different people. Each has its own unique niche.

Judging by the lack of response, I'd avoid it. Imagine what customer service is like!

Do the low sections of the cockpit self drain or do they rely on auto-bailers?

There is an Andersen bailer each side.

I like the look of these and the thought that has gone into them. However it looks to my eye you have made the head of the sail too fat, (too much roach). I suspect when sailing square/downwind on a windy day they have a tendency to capsize to windward once all that roach hangs forward of the mast

Jordan, apologies for the delay in replying - I have been abroad. That big roach is easily controllable by the powerful kicker/vang. Down wind in a breeze the H2 just flies and gybing is so easy.

Have been very interested in this boat's development. Much as I like my Megabyte, it is a failed class

Dan, the Megabyte is a good design but it is very difficult to get a new class, however good, off to a decent start. We have worked very hard to encourage H2 owners and they are only too willing to spread the word about the boat so we are steadily growing. Hopefully that will continue.

Still prefer a Contender

That's fine. The Contender is a great dinghy but the H2 is not designed for Contender sailors.

I'd reckon you'd come up near on empty to find 70 year olds willing to sail a contender in a stiff breeze.
