Holy shit, those two sentences he said in German were actually really good! He said "Glee is cool" and "That's awesome" as well as "My German is bad". But his voice somehow sounded really different to me :D

I've said it before, but I guess I can say it again. I wrote all the languages he speaks in the video in a RANDOM order and put some videos in which he speaks any language except for english, also in a RANDOM order... So it was never my intention to pair them or anything. I do know I made a mistake by mentioning both Filipino and Tagalog, but that's another story. Thanks for watching though and stay totally awesome by being a fan ;)!

You do have a point here, obviously I would have loved him just as much if he only speaks English and yes: he doesn't speak german and french fluently (still better than I, though). But he still speaks a lot of languages and it's kind of awesome. And on top of that 'Reasons to Love Darren Criss' isnt just 5 parts. There will be a reason #6 (and more) some day, but I'm lazy! Tagalog is more of a dialect. The more official language is Filipino. Darren's mom came from the Philippines, so he knows how to speak it. :)

It is. Quite understandable that he knows a bit as his mom is Filipino. I was actually expecting him to know a bit more, but then again, he was raised American and his mom is from the Cebu where they have other dialects that are completely different from the Tagalog I know.

But he got like the second place on a important grade, exam or contest (i don't really remember right now) about latin, so he definitely know latin very very well so it's not really hard for him to speak other languages (some not so fluently but still) since their words come from latin.

the 2nd clip he speaks a mix of italian and portuguese. Im latina and i dont hear any spanish there. Its just we share a few words with italians and portugueses beacause of the same rooth (latín)plus french has a latín rooth too. So thats the confusión.

FYI Tagalog is one of the local Dialects in the Philippines which is mostly used in Tagalog Region however, the national language is Filipino..

What the hell are you talking about, he cannot speak a lot of language. As a student of linguistics, I become angry when people say they can speak a language when they only know a couple phrases. Like Darren with the majority of languages. He's German accent is not perfect, as said below, and he cannot speak it either. He knows phrases. Not languages. Some people work hard to learn languages, so please don't say you speak a language if you know 4 phrases. He speaks Italian pretty well! :)
