REASONS why Bluetooth speaker does not charge ?

In this video we explain a couple of reasons why our Bluetooth Speakers can stop charging!
We start out with the issues that are the most obvious and easiest to fix.
Later on we get into the more complicated situations and show possible solutions and instructions on how to fix the problem.
Always consider that this video is explaining the issues for a variety of Bluetooth speaker models. How to fix your particular speaker model may be different from what you see here. It's best to look up videos that explain how to disassemble your specific speaker before attempting this yourself!

You forgot one other troubleshooting issue as well. When you take apart the speaker unplug the battery from board and if it's not swollen (battery), reconnect it and see if it charges. I had to do than on one of my sony bluetooth speakers, it wouldn't charge but the cable and power brick works on other devices so I eliminated those two factors. It's almost like unplugging the battery forces a reset to the speaker, it's been working fine now for several weeks and hopefully this saves someone else some money.

*Disable and Re-Enable the Internal Battery via program logic* Hold the JBL CONNECT button beside the power button, and volume up, until the fifth light flashes red. Then plug in the JBL if not already and power it on and do the key combo again to enable the internal battery again. -->This totally fixed my BT Connection issues and where the unit would Abruptly power down when connected via Bluetooth. Also it sound better too like it kinda sounded blown before idk maybe that like my placebo ears. I also did a *Full Reset (Bluetooth & Volume+ Buttons Held for 10 seconds till reset)*

That is not necessary. Using only the USB port to charge is sufficient.

No, check for a small gap between the charging port and the motherboard. This video shows you how to fix that

Hi, that usually depends on the specific speaker model, since the battery capacity can drastically differ. It should be somewhere between 2 to 4 hours. Usually there is an indicator light on the speaker, showing that it is still charging. When the light turns off it is fully charged. It is not harmful to the battery to keep it connected longer, because the device will stop the charging process by itself as soon as the battery is fully charged.

When it is not charging I’d first try a different cable. If that does not make a difference, then check if the battery is bloated.

I bought a brand new as8 airbuds Bluetooth speaker from Walgreens 6 days ago. Now the speaker will not charge. I thought it was a defective micro C connector cable so, I bought a new one and it still will not charge.
