It doesn't matter what car can beat what car in an era were an electric Kia Shitbox can walk a Hellcat Redeye. What matters is driving engagement and how the car makes you feel. The R/T makes the right noises, looks right, fun to drive and is nearly indistinguishable from a Hellcat from more than 20 feet away to most people. They are great cars.

100%%%!!! Until recently purchasing a new last call Scat Pack T/A my cars were 60s and 70s muscle cars. Lots of talk and bravado but reality is 12 second cars. And modern muscle people always give me crap. I have to remind them they were fast 50 years ago and us old people drive them because of it reminds us of cars when we were young, not because they are the toughest car on the block anymore. (Talking stock muscle cars not race cars or FAST wolf in sheep clothing cars) Right on most Hondas could beat an old muscle car and hit the highway doing 80 all day. But we all pick cars that make us feel good.

Good job! You presented this video well except for the Challenger being introduced in 1970. You must have seen Vanishing Point, no?? It's a major reason why so many gravitated to this model. The R/T is an amazing beast with an array of options available. The Shaker Plus package and the heavy duty / handling suspension enhances the ownership experience immensely. My 2020 R/T listed for $48,500 with almost every option except the two tone interior and sunroof. After one year of ownership I am still smiling each time I take it out.

I'm thinking of the R/T SCAT PACK WIDE BODY....Not to much difference in the SXT or the GT, and I agree with you...you get a muscle car for the raw power. I think the V-6 models are for those who may be able to get a V8 and that's fine. But definitely R/T is the way I am leaning.

Hellcat guys say your better off getting the Hellcat, Hellcat Redeye guys say your better off with that.
