A Rebeca é uma ginasta completa, pois ela tem todos os requisitos que o código pede. Não é uma ginasta clássica que apresenta rotinas de solo mais voltadas para o balé, como as soviéticas, as antigas romenas e russas, mas ela tem um estilo brasileiro de fazer ginástica.

Ela ta espalhando esteriótipo dos brasileiros kkkkkkk We dont learn how to dance in schools 😅 there is something called “escola de samba” which is a samba school but its not a regular school, its a place where samba dancers (mostly adults) practice to the carnaval parade every year in brazil. But most brazilian do not even know how to samba. I can say that brazilian youth is used to know some simple dance moves that we learn by ourselves for simply fun. Dancing is definitely cultural but they dont teach us to how to dance in schools. We just know some moves because its trendy in brazil nowadays and fun hahaha

Só se for numa escola particular (paga a alto preço) para ter aulas de dança além das matérias regulares. Infelizmente, as escolas brasileiras, principalmente as públicas, estão longe disso. Obviamente, como nossa querida e maravilhosa atleta Rebeca tem uma preparação especial, ela deve ter feito aulas de dança, sim. A maneira como se coloca no tablado é quase como se estivesse num palco e isso é sensacional, dá um "up" e uma graça especial à sua técnica e às suas apresentações. Mas isso é pra ela, não para as crianças brasileiras "comuns" (infelizmente).

She is the best Brazilian gymnast of all time, but also part of a whole process of 30 years, during that time there were four generations of women and men that slowly build what today is a great team, our best ever, with a clear star. But she is part of something, and by the way she didn't win the first Olympic medal in the sport, not even the first gold. That information is just wrong. Great individuals like her and even Simone need a background, need a History, need people that pave the way. She had those in Brazil, since the 90's.

Not to mention that Biles has never had injuries as serious as Rebeca's, injuries destroy body and mentality.

She did great, most likely her best performance yet and it was so amazing to watch! Although, to score a 15+ she would need a 9+ in execution and this wasn't it. The score was perfectly fair for what she delivered and it still gives her amazing chances for floor finals if this is what she does there!

@@johnnysimon7696 exactly, I can give you 0.6 deductions that she has in every single routine, she'd have to be perfect in everything else to score 15+. (4x0.1 in split legs during back handsprings, 0.1 for split legs in the double layout and 0.1 in cross legs in the front twist). Add a couple precision deductions in dance elements and a 15+ is unachievable with the D score that she currently competes.
