Just finished watching this version of Rebecca and I didn't really like it. So far the best and most accurate adaptation has to be the 1979 miniseries. The actress who plays the girl is just too beautiful & outgoing. I didn't really like how Maxim de Winter was portrayed here. Isn't he supposed to be charming and attractive? Maxim is supposed to be 42, this actor looked a lot older. Mrs. Van Hopper was another miscast. The several altercations made in this version also did not do it any favors.
