Damn this commentary makes me laugh now because Rebecca went on to be 2012 British champion, had an absolutely brilliant Olympics, competed at various world cups events where she had much better competitions and recently became the 2014 British champion. I hope that showed them.

Why are people being so rude? She was 15, made the GB Olympic team, being the youngest Team GB member, and she was amazing, did better that many people. she made it to the all around finals and her floor routine was AMAZING. Did I mention this all happened when she was only 15 YEARS OLD?!

Because American Cup is soooo prestigious. And people totally care about it. And it isn't completely biased. And it's considered a world cup event. *Eye roll.*

I think that this competition, in particular, makes her stronger and tougher, so that she then became the Olympian and warrier we all know and enjoy to watch.

me too, I think she hasn't peaked yet. I hope to see her upgrading and cleaning up her routines. depending on who will be competing she could maaaaybe have a chance for a medal at next year euros.

lol um Tim Daggett is an Olympic gold medalist (for US), Elfi Schlegel has medals at World Championships (for Canada). They may be harsh and sometimes overly critical, but they have been there and done that. And both of them are honest and don't sugarcoat anything, which I personally respect.

She is 1000 times more beautiful than any of the American entrants at the Olympics. I'm not being biased, I'm Canadian (not british or american). I have to admit, I've developed quite an infatuation with Rebecca Tunney lately. I love her eyes.

Every time I see her on tv or online I can immediately feel the butterflies in my stomach start to churn. I'm absolutely in love with this girl. I have dreams of her and I, walking hand-in-hand down the beach during sunset, or cuddling together in a sleeping bag while out camping. Watching this video, my eyes glaze over as I long to be with her. Rebecca exudes a wholesome beauty which can't be matched by any other. How can I be so in love with a girl I've never even met?

The commentators shouldn't be so hard on her! Gabby Douglas fell off the beam 3 times too in 2011, then just a year later she was an Olympic gold medalist in the all around.

Such a shame because Rebecca is such a fabulous gymnast. The commentators were really mean as well! I feel that the American cup is like a bad luck meet for the British gymnasts. Hannah Whelan, Rebecca Tunney and Claudia Fragapane have all had some big mistakes which is a shame because they all have so much potential.

those commentators are so horrible to her, it's not her fault she's younger and less experienced than everyone else. rebecca is an amazing gymnasts, better than the commentators themselves, can they do better than her? what re their problems?

It's their job to criticize her. She knew that when she entered the meet. They are not "horrible," they're critiquing her gymnastics, just as an NBA commentator would critique a basketball player.

I wish that she would focus on her tow point more. Other gymnasts, Komova for example, are in point the second their foot inches off a surface. Rebecca points but not in the same way. Maybe I am being picky but a little more toe point would go a long way for her. With her long lines she could be really great, really classy, but she needs to fix the little things first.

Elfi shouldn't even mention form errors when rebecca is performing. She's a beautiful gymnast. And the three Americans? Please, Jordyn, Aly, and Gabby dont't hold a candle formwise next to Rebecca. Go Brits!:)

I hate how cocky Tim is, "After a performance like this...it's gonna be hard to overcome not just in this competition but in every competition. She's gonna be a bit damaged after that performance in the most famous building in the world." Hate to break it to you but that is not the most famous building in the world...it's one of them.

a) if you don't care about it, don't watch it. I, for one, am excited to see the AmCup this weekend b) yes, an American USUALLY wins the comp.....except when they don't. So not always. Stop over-dramatizing. c) Don't like the commentators? Turn the volume down. d) most importantly, the use of "fagget" as a derogatory term is classless and ignorant. It's 2013. Step up.

This is a joke. I’m not being rude but I come from Great Britain and all these commentators do is say how good American gymnasts are and that is true but you don’t need to slate other countries just to make Americans look better than they already do. I’m not hating because the Americans are very good gymnasts but this is unfair to be saying it in such a horrible way.

Man, the commentators are unnecessarily harsh. Therapy? Work to get back on track? Dude, harsh. This happens in every sport, a good person chokes in the clutch in a big game or event. She's going to need some Dr. Phil just puts it over the top. These announcers are complete douchebags. They need some Dr. Phil, to teach them some class.
