OOoooof. I have about four years worth of things to say and I feel like I barely touched the sides. A few thoughts out loud for those considering pursuing KZbin as a line of work ....... I wish I had known everything I tell you here before I started so my eyes would have been wider open to what would happen to me, but I had no idea. Obviously there are so many great things that come from KZbin, but there are some pretty dark sides to. Video intended for a balanced discussion... it's long, so listen like a podcast? Rebecca, you should be so very proud of what you’ve accomplished both now AND when you were only 26 new to the platform. Your videos were always the most fun to watch and Amazing Top 10 plummeted in quality after Jack left but wasn’t worth watching after you left! As far as the trolls calling you names, you’ve always been breathtakingly beautiful, and never believe anything less! I’m sorry this was so long but I just wanted you to know how a “normal fan” sees you. Thank you for your honestly and know the vast majority of us love you and wouldn’t want you to change a thing but from me personally I always want you to be happy first! So you do you whatever that is in life, I know it will be an incredible success! I can’t wait to read your book. Thank you got all of the hard work you’ve put in over the years just for our entertainment, we really do appreciate it!

I was sorry to see on your Instagram that you hurt you knee. I did the same thing a couple years ago and had to have surgery to reattach my quad tendons using titanium bone anchors. It was quite painful, but the thing that really helped me was cold therapy. It's like a bag that goes around your injury and constantly circulates cold water. It helped me heal very quickly and soothed pain very well. I hate painkillers - so it was a great option for me, and I recommend it highly. Health, wealth, and success to you, Rebecca!

Rebecca thank you for the video. It has helped me a lot in my passion project. I'm a semi retired psychologist, and a gamer. a couple years ago I watched another gaming youtuber basically livestream herself into a psychotic break.and since then I've been working on a viewer/subscriber/friend framework to counter the drastic emotional/psychological effects of the 24/7 broadcast lifestyle. My disadvantage is that I'm a member of gen x who had the advantage of being able to disconnect from the toxicity and the barrage of social connectivity. I'd love to hear more from you and others like yourself to help me hopefully create a way for people to help each other avoid the pitfalls of our connected society and bring attention to mental and emotional well-being in the age of youtube/tiktok/patreon ect. Once again thank you and I'm glad you were self aware enough to make the choice you did in time. And good luck on your future endeavors

Hey you!, Canadian, if you came home one night and found a public health official was raping your spouse and an accompanying policeman was molesting your child, and when you yelled at them the policeman showed you a court-order, signed by a judge under a Ministerial mandate, that authorized these actions, and that your were now required to clean-up and pay the public health official and the policeman $100 each, would you pay both of them?, just one of them?, or only clean-up? Glad you chose Canada/Toronto as a home and we are the better for it. Too bad there are so many jerks/ lowlife folks out there causing you grief. I hope you can ignore the comments that are useless/worthless and remember the many who love your work but may not take the time to post positive things. May you continue posting your life's journey and you have great content in this channel. Once covid clears up soon we all will be able to move onward. Cheers:)

Loved you on the channel that shall not be named! Was really bummed when I heard you were leaving. It really sucks that you have had to deal with all the negative comments out there in the world. People can be such assholes. I've always wanted to be a professional youtuber, but through some research of my own and other youtubers, found out that it can actually be pretty hard to make money from youtube yourself and if people pay attention, a lot of the big time youtubers sell their own merch, have sponsors, and have people/teams that work on pushing out videos. And you're right in that a lot of youtubers get stuck into doing the same type of videos over and over again cause it gets them those subs and views. I wish you the best of luck in your adventures forward whatever they be. Keep being yourself!!!

Thank you for being so honest Rebecca, this video is something everyone who wants to start a KZbin channel should watch! I mean this in the most respectful way when I say you truly are a beautiful woman and have been for all the years you have been on KZbin. I loved watching you on MostAmazing, and although I still love that channel, I am glad you took the step to leave and do what you wanted for yourself. I agree with so much that you said, it is important that young people are made aware of the bad and the good of being online, not just on KZbin but any platform so they can really think about if this is for them. We also need to start really educating people to have a better standard of how to interact with people online as humans in a respectful way may they be leaving a compliment or a constructive comment, and not do some of the disrespectful and disgusting things you talked about here like bullying, body shaming and making extremely sexual comments. Compliments and showing support is one thing, but the stuff you talk about is not acceptable, period. I agree with what you said about drama, everything gets so blown out of proportion, and yes it is good to be a little over the top sometimes if people are having a laugh at something harmless and silly to be engaging, but the majority of the drama that happens on KZbin is just so petty, so fake and it feels like it is the same stuff over and over. These people are usually the ones obsessed with numbers and are the ones who don't talk to anyone with fewer subs or whatever than them, and that is such a bad way to think, and a lot of these people are the ones fueling the drama. But it is worse when people watching sit around and make drama out of absolutely nothing or at the bare minimum their own baseless assumptions is even worse and I don't understand it at all. I've seen it happen about you and most amazing even after you have said what you said and it makes me think, can't you just let these people move on, do their thing and thrive? Why do you think some soap opera went down? Baseless assumptions around some petty drama someone says happens always makes me laugh though. KZbin needs to be more human with how it interacts with its users and creators, and not just confine them to an algorithm. They are going down a very self-destructive path and if they do not change another platform will come and take over from them, but the fact they do not realise this and change things is very sad. I wish you all the best and hope you continue to create what you want when you want and are successful, happy and healthy. 🖤

You obviously put a lot of thought into the content, which is something I appreciate as it makes you appear more genuine. I don't mind sporadic content honestly, as long as it means more thoughtful content. In other words, I hope you don't feel too much pressure. Take the time you need to produce what you want. I've done my fair share of creating videos, and I do know where you're coming from, and it's even more time consuming when you have to do everything yourself. Sometimes my editing doesn't go the way I want it, which drives me up the wall, haha. Technology can be such a burden! I feel sad about your trolls. Just know that there are people that truly appreciate you. Hope this helps :)

I did NOT know. Thank you. For me personally, it doesn't sound like the "payoff" is worth it (especially when you value integrity as I do). Yeah, I think I may be more like how you describe yourself. Do what you like and perhaps not so of what you do not like. Keep mixin' those tasty libations! A smile for you. :)

I really, really like this comment. Thank you. Sometimes I feel like my integrity can hold me back, but I hope to win the long game!

@@RebeccaFelgateOfficial I am so pleased that you liked what I had to say. Integrity is the most valuable asset I own. (I'm afraid I've been dealt a rather lousy hand) so, my integrity is all I have of any real value. I take great satisfaction when I hear about folks like you. I admire your drive and independence. Also, I just plain ol' think yer neat and fun!! The chaos \m/

Honestly I watched the channel because of you and Danny, then when you both left I think Ayman left so I left it but I always watch your old videos and Danny's as they are the best on the channel

The reason I followed you from the other channel is because you are very much like my Wife. She speaks the Queen's English, always carries herself as a Lady, and she is interested in silly things I will just never understand. One of the reasons that what I write may already have been written before is because I have just never felt like reading other people's opinions (as mine are the only ones that count) and the insane amount of hate that even good people, such as yourself, always receive. Yet do not take this as a demand for more of anything, you do as you wish, make those choices that will make you happy, and remember good people will thank you for the good that you have done, not curse you because you haven't done as they wish.
