Indian Army Is The Largest Volunteered Army In The World. If Someone Says Why Such Big Army Because From Independence In 1947 India Was Surrounded By Enemies Nations Such As Pakistan And China. Attack helicopter difference is gone now, 22 Apache & 16 HAL Rudra have been introduced since, and atleast 125 more attack helicopters will be added in this decade to Indian armed forces.

Uhhhh there are over 80 Rudra in service ( over 100 on order), the Indian army has 6 (of 39) Apaches India order, they will also be ordering 160 LCH so by 2030 over 400 attack helicopters will be in service with the Indian armed forces

We really need to stop comparing ourselves to UK and other European riff raff in terms of numbers. Think about it this way: US Army has 11 Armoured Brigade Combat Teams, each with 87 tanks. So in total, US Army has 957 Tanks in service. They also have 12 Combat Aviation Brigades, each Brigade with 48 Apache attack choppers, which gives a total of 576 Heavy Attack Helicopters in US Army. Meanwhile, India has 75 Armoured Regiments (which will grow to 80+ once FRCV program takes off). That is a total of 3,375 tanks (not including the attrition reserves). For us to meet US standards, we need at least 2031 Heavy Attack Helicopters. Of course I made the unrealistic assumption that only tank formations get supported by Attack Choppers.

Yeah, no. Not likely to happen in this century. In terms of Army, yes, its going to happen by 2040. But Air Force? Not a chance before 2070 at least. And Navy? Forget it. Not going to happen in this century. Space? Again, not happening in this century. Its easy to write these BS comments about how India will be "number 1". But 99% of the people who write these comments are not working hard to make it happen. Which is why it won't happen.

Imagine the payload fraction that NASA's Direct Fusion Drive will provide. They will be able to establish a permanent colony on Mars. Post-2050, this might allow them to take the first steps towards mining the asteroid belt. Compare that with ISRO's vague plans. Yeah, no. Indian Special Forces are very very good. But as an organization, Indian Special Forces don't hold a candle to United States Special Operations Command. Neither in size, nor in capability or equipment. Our Special Forces are definitely better than anything China or Pakistan have. But not comparable to US Special Forces. But now that General Rawat has managed to create the Armed Forces Special Operations Division, maybe we will see a paradigm shift in the attitude that our politicians and even Generals have towards Special Forces.

Military rank is not a competition. Country need militarily strength to match its threat. India has 2 large hostile neighbor Pakistan and China. Pakistan military is weaker than ours. But China military is highly superior to us. And our border conflict which China is very old. So we have very high threat and small military if we bring threat into perspective. UK is very lucky, I guess you don't have that much threat. So its not appropriate enough to compare military like that, military is for self deference, not for any kind of competition.

They have firepower comparable to the Indian Army, in size and British Army, in quality. That alone is an indicator to what is required to defeat North Korea decisively.

I'm afraid to say that the way the two are compared is a bit naive and does not take into account global reach etc. and force multipliers (look at HM Queen Elizabeth for example. I'm russian but idk why indians only thinks that number will make them win war over quality. HMS Queen Elizabeth ii literally carry more aircraft then india's both aircraft carrier can (1 is under sea trials)

hahahaha less numbers but more elite and vastly better trained plus those are old numbers of the uk armed forces. one thing they mysteriously missed out is the 2 aircraft carriers we have and the new type 31e frigates we're buliding. just a piece of advice look up what britains military is really like and not take the words from a biased video....
