Rebecca, you are spot on, absolutely correct. I'm so outraged. My father was a narcissist. The withholding any help for me. Sickening he was a cop. A liar. A cheat, adulterer. Mom suffered the worst. She died at just 65 years of age. She's a Saint. Not recognized by the Catholic church. I and of course my brothers miss her. As a final fucking dad never made a last will and testament. Four years to settle his estate!

So many good points . I have to say #15 is definitely one of the most disturbing behaviors that I’ve seen they have. My ex of two years when she got to the discard phase there was nothing , no low , no scruples or sense of moral center x I found her doing thing after thing nasty to me. Each time I never thought her to stoop so low until she did the next thing . Everything from shutting my phone service off then night before an important job for an influential customer that would have made or broke the future of the brand new business I was trying to get off the ground all the way up to destroying some of her things and calling the police and said it was me. I never saw this person even capable of behaving like that until I saw it with my own eyes .

Never in my life did I think I would meet a narcissist at my age. I've always prided myself in having good instinct and gut feeling about people. Until I met a narcissist who I thought was a friend. When I finally realized something was wrong I did a lot of research on narcissistic people and bang there she was standing right in front of me. I couldn't believe I had been fooled for that long. To be honest it hurt my heart because I did think of her and love her as a friend.. our lives are far too short to deal with people like this. You must walk away from them but before you do please let them know you know. ❤

I had the same experience but I'm not sure letting them know you know is always the best plan. Mine became extremely aggressive in a covert manner and smeared me. It was a mistake. She's very practised at manipulation.

Most people thinks about “ how can we share 50-50 TOGETHER to make the life work and protect each other and our family! They can also actually say it straight out” oh, but I cannot USE you, or you’re of no USE for me! And “ I can’t control you!” Hello??? Is that something that happens when they’ve met resistance from you, and limits and heard you say no, back off! Then their mask falls off, right? And they forget to lie for a minute?? One of the weirdest cases I encountered of a narcissist keeping secrets was one day they let slip they 'saw a problem with my project'. I asked them for details and they withheld them (all documented). Almost a year later, they *finally* revealed the issue and got it cancelled. Their argument amounted to "Because we want it cancelled" and they never formally wrote down the justification. Me: "WOW! That was like... one of the most expensive ways to cancel a project that I've ever seen! ...and nobody realizes it." Any frustration I had from having my work scrapped was overridden by just how shockingly bad the cancellation was gonna look in the accounting books. Me: "I gotta collect evidence to prove I was productive and acting in good faith up to this point, because anyone with half a brain who reviews the books is gonna be screaming for blood." I left because I quickly realized: If the narcissist can do what they did and receive no pushback, then A. The company doesn't have a future. B. If I had to guess, this isn't the narcissist's 'final form', and they just realized they can get away with pretty much anything. C. Nobody present was understanding the potential fallout from this. In a shockingly short amount of time after my departure, the CEO was sacked.

I also noticed the weird relationship she had with her children. The whole family dynamic was super weird. Her kids would refer to her as she. So this is what happened to me I started seeing casually a guy about 20 years younger than me and it was never a relationship it was I thought a mutual understanding but I started noticing he went from liking me I thought to I guess jealous of me I am a professional empathetic people person so then came the bashing but like I said it was casual get togethers we were never committed and I never wanted that so I took a job eight hours away moved didn’t think twice about it or him. Went home to visit I was arrested for the first time in my life he had lied to the police I went to jail a year half of being on bond my case was dismissed had total evidence he lied. So definitely be careful he tried to ruin me. So narcissist most definitely maybe social path. Crazy just from hooking up here and there. Even after that not talking to him , he continued to leave voicemails wanted me to meet him he had a gift for me, I never answered by third voicemail he was so aggressive. That scared me more than jail like I thought he wanted to like harm me. Changed my number I had too . Now he is serving three years in prison for something he truly did. That’s his own fate karma whatever.

Love her so much that I would be able to love myself which happened so I could give her all my love, which also happened.
