Rebekah Palmer presents ep. 1

Overflowing the frame: discovering the relationships between creativity and agency using painting as a parallel mode of inquiry.
In this presentation, Rebekah will share the journey she is on exploring creativity and creative efficacy in her teaching practice and how these practices spill over into other parts of her professional and private life. Rebekah will explore how arts-rich pedagogies aren’t just for learning settings but can be used in other settings to build community.
Rebekah’s work is also about investigating how arts based research can be explored by research based art. As part of her current inquiry Rebekah is using painting as a parallel mode of inquiry. To do this, she is re and un learning how to paint using abstract art as the source of influence.
Rebekah Palmer is an artist, educator and Master's student at the University of Sydney.
