I currently live in South Korea and the thrifting here is epic… I’ve been reselling for less than a year and have found so many designer items here! The best thing I’ve thrifted (and sold) so far is actually a pair of men’s DSQUARED2 jeans, for $129. Bought them for about $7. I then bought another pair at a higher end thrift to try and recreate the first sale but they haven’t sold yet. So we’ll see. The best thrifted items I haven’t sold yet: a Celine bag ($3), a Proenza Schouler bag ($8), Chanel booties ($8)!

Vendoo is the best!! The auto delist for sold items is amazing. My best sale was the $850 bundle of two pairs of tieks 😊 $550 for one and 300 for the other, they were sold outright and I was stunnnnnned. In two days too!

Those are such great success stories and helpful to know a few more brands to look for. I found a $6.99 John Paul Gautier long maxi dress with a hood. I have worn it several times, but here in Florida it’s a little warm…it’s a knit. I should sell it! I think I’ll try Vendoo as well since I did get stuck selling the same piece once. It’s a bad feeling and not good for credibility

I paid $3 at an estate sale for a John Galiano new with tags $1,200 (old stock) knit dress. It actually took 7 months to sell. Was listed on both Ebay and Poshmark. Finally took an offer of $125. I had an appointment to take it to the Real Real but just decided to go ahead with the sale. I also have a Valentino skirt still up for sale with no offers. I have found Balenciaga at the bins but did not pick it up for moral reasons.

Been thrifting Womens clothes since 2001. Literally listing an average of 3 items a day on ebay since 2001. My best selling item was a Chanel blouse. It sold for $1,000 in 2005 to a lady in Florida. When I went to pack the blouse there was a flaw I did not notice, and thus did not disclose. It was a small snag/run on the back. I shipped it despite this. Well- she loved it! I got great feedback from her! 😆 Good job on these sales! Yay!

My highest sold items are a New With Tags Anthropologie Duvet Cover for $149 after paying $12 for it and a new in package Disney CrosssStitch Kit for $105. The highest valued item I have listed currently is a Dooney and Bourke Pebbled Leather bag and then unlisted waiting to be cleaned and photographed is a Ralph Lauren Polo Sweater that has the classic American Flag on the front, comps ranged from $75-125 when I looked it up last.

Hi so is there a reason you don’t put the size on the title and why you don’t use all the characters in the title? I’m curious because everyone else says to fill as many if not all character’s available but if I don’t need to that sure would make things easier on me lol. Also how do you know if so something is authentic and not a counterfeit/knock off/dupe? I’m curious because I have a coach purse I’d love to sell that I bought at an antique shop but I don’t know how to tell if it’s authentic or not I’ve even googled and it seems real but I’m worried about accidentally selling a counterfeit so I haven’t been searching for luxury items when out thrifting any advice?
