What has this song done to me? I stumbled upon it last week, 6 years after its release, in a random Spotify playlist, and ever since then I can't stop playing and humming it. It has a peculiar rawness to it, and in its rawness lies an emotion that just stirs something inside of you.

Sas I know exactly how you feel -- this song appeared in my Discover Weekly playlist on Spotify, I had to sit down, suddenly feeling slightly dizzy, and I played it again, and again, and again... Such rawness, and honesty, none of that folksy bullshit catering to hipsters, and possibly the most beautiful, cathartic lyrics I've ever heard. I'm still shivering.

+Ophélie Chavaroche I also got it in my "Discover Weekly" and it was love at first listen. It's rarely that you actually stop what you're doing (if you're at work), and simply have to check who's playing. Then you go silent, and think to yourself, "wow". And I agree, it has a very cathartic feeling. I love the line "I'm gonna take that fear and wear it like a crown". Feels very empowering.

I'm going to get a tattoo inspired by this sing. I've been looking for so long for some lyrics that had meaning to me, and actually called out to me. I knew as soon as I heard this in the circus cirkor that is was what I wanted. Im not obsessed with this song. Amazing, inspirational, incredible.
