I enjoyed your video very much. I got a fast question for you. In your estimation, do you think this bike would make a decent beginner bike? I have some minor grip issues on my left hand, and thought the DCT might be a solid way to go. I’d appreciate any thoughts you might have. Thanks a ton.

The dct is great. But I would say it would make a great 2nd bike. Its pretty easy to get away from you. Honda makes a ctx700 with the dct thats alot better. Still not bad as far as power goes. I owned one (except manual trans) and I loved it. But I guess if you keep it in rain mode until you get used to it the rebel is pretty docile I guess. I would say if you take it easy you'll be fine.

I think it would do fine. But theres not a whole lot of suspension travel. So be sure to avoid big potholes and things
