Dmitry could barely contain his glee. He had no idea that returning Organa’s Corvette (alongside a large number of new recruits that were purely loyal to him and no other) would get him enough prestige to earn a MC80 Rebel cruiser, a flagship. Given that he worked on one before, it was obvious that he would have the skills to command one as well, this contributed to such a massive upgrade. Unfortunately, since this is a Rebel flagship, he is much more closely watched, which means he kinda needs to stick with the main rebel cell and not take any unnecessary leave. But this is fine, he thought to himself, the more he rose the ranks, the more likely it is that he will be given a position of power in the new world order, and with that position, well, who knows what he might do. He might even, if he gains enough support in the navy and the army, stage a coup against those incompetent democratic leaders, and place power right where it always should have been, the navy, the backbone of every Empire. Without the Navy, all empires crumble. Another highly important thing, is that he is one of the only captains of the rebel navy that has never held any respect for the republics policies. He never joined the rebels on ideological grounds, he joined them for power.
