Yes it is, Sanctum Imperiales (or whatever it is called) is the PR and media beurau equivalent here. For a few tips here: 1) Avoid Pax Imperialis, as it cause locals to demand initiatives faster as well as making existing concerns to rise faster than normal. The reason being is because most initiavtives that usually reduce hostility like healthcare, education, water and sanitation, either: A Cost 5 reputation and cost 4 times more than usual (9 or 10 vs 2 or 3), which healthcare and education falls into and only really have 2 initiatives of the same type. U can indeed get rouge trading license for one vanilla like healthcare and education initiative, called habblock services and personal datapads, I think so, respectiviely. These also significantly increase corruption gain, both momentarly and long term by boosting future corruption gain, which is thankfully easy to counter due to very good angi corruption initiatives in the goverment tab. This is also due to the fact that imperial culture initiatives in the goverment tab also increase hostility, which the Imperium IMO (in my opinion), struggles to deal with. 2) On brutal and mega brutal difficulities, u may ignore the cost reduction initiatives due to how they ramps up the effects of both corruption and inflation. The latter impacts both how much u gain per successive initiavtive u buy at once in a given tab (civilian, goverment and military tabs) and how long this effect takes to fade away. U really want to get the economy buerau initiative as soon as u can to better combat inflation, as this will easly burn out ur bugdets before u know it.

Hey Pravus, author here. Thanks for playing the scenario, it was my first one i ever made but i tried to make it interesting, but there were some balance issues and a bug. I'm not the best at the game since i rarely play above normal. The first thing is the inquisition, it required Noble Estates from a different tree to be funded but either its hard for people to figure that out or it didnt really work as intended. In any case that has been fixed in today's release i made the inquisition unlock from the government tree alone, another example was the airstrikes but since you managed to figure that out i left those as they were. Regarding support, there was generally too little to go around especially on brutal so i rebalanced the early initiatives to be chepaer and give support where it makes sense, this is likely going to make the scenario a lot easier maybe even too much in some ways but better than it beign a slog. Added some extra starting reputation and delayed the drop from instability to open up more ways to approach it than just rushing very specific build order hopefully. Inflation is also a big deal here, since military initiatives are sensitive to it and its easy to accumulate it, the currency standards will help to contain it long term so its wise to invest into, even at the cost of some upfront rep. Behind the Inquisition there are some extra initiatives and it also unlocks a new branch in the military path with all terrain tank. Now it should be more intuitive to get to these. In any case as i said, thanks for playing it, i dont have as much time as i would like so i'm not sure if i will be updating this further for now it should at least be more balanced. Marek.

@@purplefood1 I don't mind it. We have always joked that drugs are cheaper. You can reduce the costs quite a bit by buying used models and "normal" modelling stuff like for miniature trains although that is also not cheap. And with 3D printing you have a whole new world of options. Unless you want to participate in official tournaments of course.

The person who made this is clearly a very casual fan for example the currency on an individual world can be whatever But it is never Credits When traded intergalactically money from a world is referred to in setting as "Gelt" or "Thrones" (Throne gelt) There is also Scrip which is used by some guilds and most notably the Imperial guard (Funny money that can only be used inside the guild or inside the military respectively) That and the ability to call in Astartes at all is crazy They usually interfere when you have already lost a campaign like this and there is a serious threat to the planet (because you failed to stabilize the region)

I think this is Horus Heresy era. You're bringing a newly conquered imperial world into compliance. So you would have Adeptus Astartes at the start.

@ Yes and no. In the heresy era the marines take the planet, and the guard occupy it. Which would make the guard both the PDF and the coalition, but the guard wouldnt leave like the coalition soldiers do. The Astartes makes the most sense to be the coalition soldiers, because they come in, do their job, and then move on. So, really its just the limitation of the game mechanics at this point. You would need three soldier types to really reflect this accurately

@@mxviii Yeah but the Space Marines are supposed to be like... well way more powerful than mere Guardsmen. Coalition Soldiers in the game are powerful but not supersoldiers and the Local Soldiers are supposed to almost reach them in strength by the end, right?

The Dark (or Ruinous) Powers usually refers to Chaos. Bit said that he misspelled Astartes on the modifier. At least it seems to be consistent. PDF stands for Planetary Defense Forces BTW. They are a rung below the Imperials Guard so not much use against the horrors of 40K. Love that there was plenty of customization. Sad that the balancing was off. Maybe there was a gimmick or required build-order that you missed?
