Our conversation today is about the film Rebel Moon, the new science fiction story created by Zack Snyder that could be the best film of the year, as it is similar to Star Wars but in a darker way.
And after Justice League, Zack Snyder hasn't stopped producing, and the highlight is his new production called Rebel Moon, the trailer came out not long ago and apparently the film has everything to be one of the best of the year.
Zack Snyder's new film promises to be something great, and watching the trailer it's hard not to remember Star Wars, and to be quite honest, seeing all the elements of the film, for it to fail it has to try very hard since it's a dark version of the work.
But the big secret you don't know is that Rebel Moon was originally going to be a Star Wars film, and in this video I'll explain it better.
A new universe awaits you on Netflix from December 22nd.
Director of "300", "Man of Steel" and "Army of the Dead: Las Vegas Invasion", Zack Snyder presents "Rebel Moon": a two-part film that has been in production for decades.
After crash-landing on a moon at the edge of the universe, the mysterious Kora (Sofia Boutella) restarts her life in a peaceful farming colony. When the tyrant Regent Balisarius (Fra Fee) and his cruel emissary, Admiral Noble (Ed Skrein), discover that the farmers have sold their harvest to Devra and Darrien Bloodaxe (Cleopatra Coleman and Ray Fisher), leaders of a violent group of insurgents hunted by the Mother World, Kora becomes the colony's only hope for survival.
With the mission of finding warriors willing to risk their lives to defend the people of Veldt, Kora and Gunnar (Michiel Huisman), a kind farmer oblivious to the realities of war, set off to different worlds in search of the Bloodaxes. They manage to bring together a small group of warriors who also seek redemption: Kai (Charlie Hunnam), pilot and hitman; the legendary commander General Titus (Djimon Hounsou); Nemesis (Doona Bae), master swordsman; Tarak (Staz Nair), a prisoner with a royal past; and Milius (E. Duffy), a resistance fighter. Back in Veldt, Jimmy (voiced by Anthony Hopkins in the original version), a former android protector, awakens with a new purpose. Now, the newly formed group of revolutionaries will need to learn to trust themselves to be able to face the armies of the Mother World.
