I totally agree with you, we came to Vancouver 10 years ago from South India, first we did was to become a part of the society, learn the culture, the best of it. Worked so hard, paid our taxes, raised our children. Regardless when you came or where you from, must be the attitude and understanding of the culture is vital. We moved on, settled in Alberta, started a business, it is all well. I know many of my friends did the same. I'm proud to be a indo-canadian. For this international students, they cannot go back because they have a huge loan to.pay back and the embarrassment they may face when they go back home. The educational consultancies are the real culprits and Canadian colleges operating in strip malls, I always wonder why the Canadian law enforcement agencies cannot crack down these scam institutions.
