My wife passed away 1 month ago today and I'm finally trying to sleep in our bed instead of on the couch. Not working out so well as I type this at 3 a.m. I miss her so much it's kicking my ass. This song has really helped keep me rolling forward.

Everyone who enters our lives leaves a mark. Wether it’s through friendship, love, or a lesson learned the hard way. Perspective is your maker in the end. YOU can choose to see the positive or dwell in the negativity. How YOU choose to view things is the most powerful choice you have available to you during difficult times. Choose the view that reminds you of the good she brought to your life. Celebrate her life and the time you were gifted by her side. “It’s not what you look at that matters, it’s what you see.” -Henry David Thoreau

I love the simplicity and genuineness with reggae. It's all about connecting, peace, and love. Forget the glam, most reggae bands I've seen perform in casual clothes, the message is more important than a trendy expensive appearance.
@jeffallen58714 жыл бұрын
Me too. The flashier the band, the more they use appearances to hide their crummy sound. Here, it’s simple, but great. And no autotune.
I love when a song comes into your life to save you from your own thoughts. Thank you for that Rebelution ❤

This song was my first delve back into reggae and and it reminds me of all the good times I had with my friends. Visiting iv, going to shows, and experimenting. We were so innocent and free. This song brings me back to the best moments and gives me hope for future peace and love. Thank you.

I got to meet Eric Rachmany and the whole Rebelution family during a concert. As one of the tech on lights and sound we got to sit down with them with a few drinks. I had the chance of asking Eric on what was the bands inspiration when they first created the song. Eric just simply answered, "well sometimes you just have to look way past beyond the unpleasant things that has happened and see more of the good things that has yet to take place, that in itself is a lot of ways you can say to yourself, we'll all be feeling alright".
