Great job! I learned a trick to put in the inner swiper on the short cylinder. I put a socket under the slider to stop the swiper from slippng past the indentation that holds the swiper. It just went right in on my first try... just pushed in into position with a pick. Really easy! My old bobcat is back in service.

Nope I use a pipe wrench too ! Around here the aluminum gets pretty nasty in the steel barrel and your aren't going to turn it with them 1/4" pins! Wrap some masking tape around those piston seals and put a hose clamp on them to squeeze it back in the grove!

Most of the time the air will work itself out sometimes. You can have an airlock but very rarely

I wonder if you can tell me what size Bobcat I have with the 12.9 own an engine I believe it's an M 500 but I'm not sure
