The factory Moby talks about was really cool, vast hallways, empty bathrooms with many sinks that did not work, tall ceilings, damn cool. I worked on a Documentary about Moby years ago and he showed us his room there. It is now long gone.

Moby made me just realize that I haven't been all pissed off today like I usually am and have been for the past 15 years. Wow. That's awesome. You can tell by the sound of Moby's music that he's enthusiastic about creating and really just envelops himself in it and that's why his songs are so immersive.

Thanks for arranging this interview! I appreciated hearing about Moby's experience with fame and standing up for animal rights. Also I just wanted Moby to know that he shouldn't wonder why people were buying record during the time when pop music took off...Moby's music is quality and much needed esp. during that time.

Although it’s so hard to experience, failure is a guidepost. I try to stop forcing something to be, no matter how much I may want it, because I think I should instead let it go so I can be led to my right path. If only we instilled this practice into our Western culture, instead of labeling ourselves a “failure.” No one is a failure. It’s a correction!

I think selfishness can also be caused by child hood trauma . A lot of us had no support system at all and so the trauma warps the brain , the neural pathways , psyche . The child is thrust into survival mode and the character defects begin … warps the identity of the child

This life thing can really be difficult guys im at a point where I keep trying to end it all for some weird reason I keep failing at it. I honestly don't see a reason to live anymore. Opharned at 11 and became homeless since but managed to put myself through school 🎒 until I graduated with a bcom accounting degree thought well atleast light at the end of the tunnel but the real struggle Started then struggled to find a job ended up doing something i hated just to pay rent but all failed now back in the streets hopeless and just want out. This thing called life is not for all of us nomatter what we do we are just here for pain and struggle I can't take it anymore. I'm 33 and after all my efforts nothing worked why am I here really.

I dont know you and you dont know me but hang in there. Im going through a really rough time right now and I have to even be ok with the possibility of it getting worse. Although it is a lot easier for me to help others. Im not the best at taking my own advice. Keep your chin up because giving up is never the answer. You can take those feelings and feel them. Even yell and get upset with life, but at the end of it. Tell yourself that its ok to feel that way sometimes. Then keep pushing when possible. You got this

@@SaveyourHeart41worthdying4 Thank you for the kind words. I hope you find healing on your struggles too but for me I'm kinda waiting for the day when all ends. This isn't it, I know I'm not the only one with pain and I'm not even expecting help or support for humans because we all have our struggles but can it all end. This can't be it. This can't be why we are here. Thanks again brother/sister 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I'm glad you didn't take your life. I believe you would have been sent back to learn what you did not learn in this life. I could be wrong. I believe what I believe. I'm not forcing my beliefs on you. This was interesting. I know of one millionaire who is the most miserable human being I've ever met and hopefully ever will meet. He has been the cause of his own misery. I would love to have that money, but one thing I know is I would open huge wildlife sanctuaries and a couch for every dog! I would build wells so that mothers and children would not have to walk for miles to get dirty water that carries diseases. These are things I could not live with myself if I did not do. We are spoiled when we have water at our fingertips and cars and gasoline to run them. I want to not only have my own comforts, but I want to help those who can't help themselves. I'm very late to this video, but I hope I have made someone think about someone besides themselves.

Alex, love you love the channel, but can someone please send Moby a picture of the horrendous conditions of the lithium mining encampments where child labor is sickening? If someone hadn’t shut down our energy where we produce clean fossil fuel, maybe those people mining the lithium for the batteries going into EV’s might have had a chance😢. Thank you for all that you do! A fellow 512er
