@KitstoKradlesNursery I honestly don’t understand why it was a problem that she sent the doll back? There’s absolutely nothing wrong with her she didn’t damage her, sometimes when we get the doll in person it just doesn’t look the way we thought it would. I understand it wounded your pride, but I just don’t see why you’re so upset about it.

Hi dear Misty, oh, what a terrible timing at the moment you had to let go your lovely furbaby Jake. 😭😔 There is a first time for everything, but why at that particular day...??? I cannot understand that somebody who did a custom order sends the reborn baby back... But, yes, some things from other people we cannot understand, of course. And happily we are all different, else the world would be dull, I guess... When I hear everything that can go wrong with selling reborn babies, I'm not sure if I want to sell... I've just created my first own self-painted and rooted reborn baby (you can watch the blanket reveal of Sarah-Lynn on my channel) and some people tell me I'll become a good reborn artist, but I'm not sure if I want that... She did!!! Within a few days and I think this was a case of buyers remorse. The lady was elderly and her son and grandson gave her a hard time. 😭

Hello Misty, I just read about you losing Jake. I am deeply but you saddened for your loss. Our furbabies are so much part of our families and when we lose them it is devastating to us. I have lost a couple in the past, so I know how you feel. I currently have a furbaby who is closer to me then the past ones were. If I were to lose her, my husband, or my mother I would be extremely devastated myself. My prayers and best wishes for you and the rest of your family. Stay strong because you will be guided through this and I absolutely love your videos, you make beautiful reborns. I am not a collector but I still love your artistry.

Thank you, Jake and I were extremely close. He was my little shadow and always at my side. He had to go everywhere I went. We were very attached and that made it so much harder. I’m just lost without him. 💗

I don’t and I didn’t. This customer was 90. There were circumstances that I won’t publicly disclose. Sometimes things are not always black & white. I came up with an agreement that benefited both parties and it all worked out in the end.

I honestly feel like her family member made her feel bad for spending that kind of money and retirement. I normally do not allow someone to return the doll, but we were able to work together to figure it out. I know that she was very elderly and did not, know how to work social media very well in order to resell and get her money back.

I honestly think it was a case of buyers remorse, she was like 97 yo and her son and grandson told her it was ugly and didn’t look real. I never do refunds unless of course I can see there was really something wrong on my part, but she was 97 and all I could think of was that she spent her food money on this baby and they really had it out with her. She was crying and just didn’t know what to do. I told her to send her back and as long as she was packed with care and came to me as perfect as when I sent her, then I would put her up for sale and refund her after she sold. She was happy and I was happy. It all worked out in the end and baby ended up with a perfect mommy. It was nice to hold her again too! 💗
