This is a beautiful piece of cinema. Not a word spoken, and in 12 minutes it tells a whole story. Everything, from costumes, location and the song are all wonderful. I’ve watched this multiple times. Can’t get enough. The two guys are also very hot, which is a big plus. I hope they do a lot more like this one

If there is anyone who wants to know the full story. This is how I interpret it: Basically, the king and lower concubine falls in love at the start of the story. However, this brings upon jealousy from the main concubine. Lower concubine gets bullied by the main concubine often. One day, the guard of the king suddenly gave her a sachet (which I think that he convinces her that if she use the content in the sachet, she would no longer be bullied). Lower concubine although was favoured by the king, she is very weak and prone to manipulations. In the end, she uses the sachet on the main concubine. Main concubine becomes a zombie and killed almost all people in the harem. Lower concubine survived (as she is saved by the king) but she thinks the zombie apocolyse was just a nightmare. However, she realized that there was something wrong after she wake up. The king who is manly and favoured her, has habits of a woman (embroidering, brushing hair in front of mirror). It is said that the martial art he is using makes him more feminine) Then the truth is revealed to her when she saw both the king and guard is having an affair. The king fell in love with the guard. The guard was the one who was so jealous, he used the lower concubine to get rid of harem. She tries to persuade the king to be truthful I think, she wants her former relationship back with the king, but the king refuses. He cold-heartly turned her away. Maybe the king has already made up his mind. Lower concubine then regained her memories and resented the guard so much, she wants to poison him. But her scheme was noticed and she was subdued. Everyone thought she was killed by the king. Then the really real truth is revealed, the lower concubine is actually alive and is living a peasant life. The king saved her, out of pity or the love that the king had for lower concubine, the king wanted to spare her from the pain of living in the palace. The king has always known about the guard's(his lover) scheme of trying to get rid of the harem and using the lower concubine to do it. But instead he made no move to stop the guard, nor prevent the lower concubine from being manipulated. Maybe he has always planned to ensure the lower concubine lives outside the palace happiliy, or maybe he just loves the guard so much than the lower concubine that he allows the guard's jealousy to do bad things.

The king will have to put his foot down and demand his man stop acting out when he has to keep up appearances by being with a concubine and just know and accept that he loves only him.

I am so impressed. The budget and hard work that went into this clearly shows. The story is exquisite. I love how the king knew about everything. He loved the woman in the beginning but his heart changed. Yet he didn't let her suffer. He knew that as long as she loved him his cruel and manipulative lover and her would never stop fighting. He let her forget and live a happy life outside the palace while he and his lover can be tgt. I love how he is able to be both wise yet passionate in his loves. He knew what his lover was like and chose what he thinks would be the best outcome for all of them. I am amazed at this channel and it's work

Also you find her under his bed because she becomes curious after the initial encounter between the king and the bodyguard, so to confirm her suspicion she spies on them by hiding under their bed. That's a short film. that's JUST a SHORT film?! I just can't believe that it's obviously possible to implement such a good story so perfectly. I just can't believe how such a comprehensive story can be implemented so perfectly (I mean everything; Cast, camera-work, make-up/the clothes, music, etc.) this is the first time that a short film inspires me so much, he is simply perfect. I just found out that all the clothes and tools that are used in the MV were provided by a Chinese company. The MV was created to promote a Chinese phone game. However, a few actors in the MV were later found out humiliated China, thus, the MV was on suspension. So, the MV should NOT ever be released to the public as it break the contract!

This short film is so beautiful, everything about it is just so pretty... The costumes, the set, the actors, all your videos are top tier, I've hardly ever seen this much work and detail go into videos on KZbin. The fact that there was no dialogue, just NTTQ's heavenly voice to fill the void, just made the fact that I could still follow the storyline even more amazing. I have to say though, I was a bit surprised at the small amount of time Quan was on screen... I know this film was probably just focused more on Denis. I don't know what else to say, I'm speechless, I really loved every moment of this... Thank you guys so much ❤❤😍
