The Royal Enfield Classic 350 has finally been updated for 2021. The bike gets a host of new additions and foremost, a new engine as well as a platform. The 2021 Classic 350 borrows a lot from the Meteor 350 that was launched last year, including the new 349cc engine.
The Classic 350 2021 has been launched at a starting price of ₹1,84,374 (all prices ex-showroom) for the Redditch Series with single channel ABS. The Halcyon Series starts at ₹1.93 lakh. The Signal Series has been priced at ₹2.04 lakh whereas the Dark Series motorcycles will be selling at ₹2.11 lakh. The Chrome model is the top of the line variant with an ex-showroom price of ₹2.15 lakh.
By far the most crucial update for the 2021 Classic 350 is its new 349cc engine. The engine comes straight from the Meteor 350 and puts out the same power and torque at 20.2PS and 27Nm. It features a counterbalancer to iron out vibrations and is housed in a new twin downtube chassis. And since the weight has remained the same while the power has increased, the bike should have a better power-to-weight ratio.

"J series engine"...September 2021 ( HALCYON BLACK ):- 🏍️ Delay in the "Bullet sound & feel"... ⚓ 1.Cold conditioned parking or simply longtime parking! 🚦 2.Next morning @ first start,ran the engine in idle condition for two minutes in the center stand. 🧐 3.Then, rided the bike.It gave only splendor bike effect for first 15+ minutes! 🤨 4.After 15+ Minutes only,I got the Bullet feel & thump gradually... 👍🏽 Might be lubrication process or minimum kms ran engine... 🤔 Sometimes suspect about the "Engine's Rocker & tappet mechanism"... ✅Anyway let me observe this in my forthcoming service periods!

Well articulated! Vibrations ilana athu Honda bro ;p I'm a proud Classic owner since 2013 (BS3) its turning out to be a aged wine now! literally I could feel the difference. My 10 yr old champ still fetching me the mileage of 44 at 80kmph speed on highways :) Now I can easily co-relate why 70 and 80s kids never accepted UCE models as bullets ;p after tasting CI engine's kick - nothing can match it. UCE engines (till BS4) managed (upto 70-80%) what CI engines did including the thump. In addition, they were made as high-speed engines to cover long distance hassle-free; that reliability factor was bit low on CI or G2 models(during long drives). As you rightly said - antha thump enaku kekala, athulae neraya artham iruku 😢 probably UCE engines were the last cup of RE'ss signature thump; rest all in-organic!
