Rebounded After Flat Tire At Utica Rome Speedway

We were setting the world on fire at the beginning of the night until we were struck with a flat tire while running in third. After pitting twice, Mike was able to rebound and collect a solid fifth-place finish at Utica-Rome Speedway!

Wow Mandee is sure coming into her own... My comments on racing:--> (please let me know if you like my writing, OK?)? I love it when I read a well-written article. There are no excuses for bad writing when it comes to the news. MSNBC, VOX, SLATE.. just consistently awful writing. What do they teach at Journalism school? THIS ARTICLE (link) IS ABOUT RACING....asphalt modified racing...it is one of the best forms of racing on asphalt. For the uninitiated, racing great Ryan 'Rocketman' Newman (NASCAR legend...Sunday at NHIS proves he is one of the best) sometimes races these when his NASCAR racing schedule permits. If he is driving one of these beasts he is always a contender...I have seen him get the pole...I have seen him win in these modifieds. Another good driver is Ryan Preece who recently left asphalt modified racing and now runs in the top NASCAR level. Ron Silk is very astute. I have met him a couple times in Atlantic City NJ promoting TQ indoor racing during the winter....the show there is equal to summerTime outdoors races. What a well thought out suggestion re fitting these races into a day of racing at a big track like NHIS. Doug Coby is equally impressive. I really wonder about coating the track with that PJ1 traction stuff...especially when it is so hot. After a bunch of laps the stuff is not that effective...they use the juice in NASCAR too. Yes, of course...have a scheduling buffer...start earlier...not really fair to the fans -OR- drives to truncate the race. These guys deserve better...as I said some of the best racing on asphalt. NHIS is a GREAT track...
