Thank you for your efforts in making this video. I received my copy of Tainted Grail used off of EBAY today so this video was PERFECT!!! I was able to sort and organize everything in a way that actually made sense and allowed me to verify the contents of what I received since it was already opened. AMAZING work!! Thank you again!

For those with sleeves and Wyrd Encounters Minis aka the "Grail" Pledge. You can move the standees and stands underneath the tray in the Wrym Encounters box out of the way but not tossed. Some of you may well toss them. Then having moved the standees out of the way you can put the sleeved Places from Beyond along with the dial on top of them where you had the dial and standees. Then in the smaller card tray you can put the Kings or Ruin Large cards where you had them. The rest of the Location and Guide cards for the remaining large slot. The sleeved secrets go next to the miniatures in the big bottom tray. All the sleeved characters cards (Dipl, Combat, Adv) all still fit where you had them. The sleeved small secrets go where you had them. The sleeved story cards and sleeved purple go where you had the blue, green and purple event cards. The blue and green sleeved encounters go in their own side slots where you had the camp card and first play. You can put the first encounter cards in the active encounters slot along with the purple encounters. You can put the camp cards behind the blue encounters cards on the side slot. Bottom line is that sleeved cards can ALL still fit in the main box and you do not have to use the extra card storage box. Assuming you are willing to move the stands and standees out into the Wyrm Encounters miniature box bottom (or toss them). I'll update this for more tips for the "Grail Pledge" level soon.

My cards are sleeved (Awaken Guard) and managed to fit them in the box with the Standees and Mini no problem. You just have to organize everything a little bit differently.

I find rotating the Stretch goal journal and placing it below the Deluxe Journal such that its rings were between the Deluxe Journal and the Deluxe resource tray creates a natural barrier between them. Might help cut down on collisions.

The card order Awaken realms seem to do this on all their games, it drives me nuts as well.

Thanks for this. It’s really helpful. I have one question… in my standard size secret decks , there are some cards that don’t have a number in top corner. I haven’t looked closely as I don’t want to spoil anything . Do you have the same or are they just the numbered secret card?

Yes, I have the same. I haven't looked at them yet, but I'm leaving them there for now.

@@TheMeepleMarathon thanks for the reply. Btw, I think they are numbered just packed upside down

Uh.. Rulebook and "Start Here" booklet? Do you use a PDF/tablet for the rulebook instead? I didn't see you take out the rulebook(s)... Uh oh... Not sure leaving out the rulebook works for all. It didn't take much lid lift to have the rulebooks and secret booklet on top. I tried putting the secret booklet underneath the Wyrd Miniature tray but that seemed to create more lid lift than the main box. Was kind of hoping to tuck the secret out of the way...only to forget where I put it years or decades later when I need it.. so maybe having it on top isn't such a terrible idea. Another option might be checking to see if the secret envelop fits under the 3 large minis and sleeved card tray at the bottom of the main box. So many games hide secrets under there trays these days. Before you EVER toss a game box out with a tray always look underneath it to be sure you weren't throwing away some secret thing.

I simply had the rulebooks out as I was reading them, but they simply lay on top of what you see with no issue.

This was an absolute mess to rebox. I really appreciate these kinds of videos, so thank you! Made the mistake of not filming my Nova Aetus unboxing and am going to have a terrible time putting that back together later. 😭

Trust me, compared to some other games, this is a walk in the park.

The backwards card ordering drove me a bit nuts as well. Are you missing a bunch of secret cards? Mine are missing seemingly random cards in the numbered list…for instance: 159, 168, 212, 224 and some others are missing…but I have two 195s. In total, I have 217 actual large secret cards. The rulebook says 219, which I’m guessing includes the front and back cards to the secret deck. If all of this is correct, then I guess they just kind of stink at properly communicating what we should be expecting to see, or it’s just a western mindset and expectation vs European… the location cards have numbered breaks as well but the seem to be intentional, so maybe these are also. I always get concerned when I’m missing cards in an ordered list. It’s happened in other games and just makes me concerned that parts of the game were missed during production.

I have not gone through and counted them individually, but I also haven't found a missing card yet during my playthrough.

Missing numbers are extreemely common in games like this (be it expansions, removed cards, secret decks or just a choice in numbering between type of cards). Pretty sure the first game was the same, I know it had gaps in the map cards at least. Also Europe is generally considered a part of "the west" so not sure what you're trying to say there. Most of this could have been solved with a good sorting guide though, which they've had in the past. I guess they pushed the game out rather quickly with the lack of one.
