We head for a long weekend in Budapest, to dive the Molnár János Cave. It is nice to get into warm water in December, relatively close to home, and briefly forget about thick dry gloves and heavy undergarments. Water temperature in the cave ranges from 27°C at the surface, down to 19°C below 40m, all year around. Visibility varies from near perfect, in the less travelled passages, to zero, in passages closer to the exit, where cave diving courses are happening.
Three dives, 350 minutes in total, not a bad weekend at all!
Rebreathers used: JJ-CCR, Divesoft Liberty Sidemount CCR, and T-REB CCR.
