Happy National Library Week, Philly! 📖 🎉
Library Week fun fact: Philly is a city of firsts - including the first public library founded in 1731 by Benjamin Franklin. Huzzah!
Rebuild and the Free Library of Philadelphia are proud to carry on this century-old library tradition, restoring 12 historic libraries across our city, including several Carnegie libraries. These sites are so important to our communities, providing space for children and residents to come together and learn together. We think that's something we can all celebrate!
