Shoddy lifter bleeding. Need to be submerged during the initial cleaning. Soak for up to a day or more. Only then pump them until the fluid coming out is clean. Not trying to be a know it all. But I know this won’t be your last time doing this.

When you asemble valves back you finally might wanna tap gently to the end of valve to make sure keepers will setle properly. Use wood or plastic hammer or something else.

I think I got a micropolished 4g64 sitting up here if that one isn’t useable. It should be able to be polished though, I spun a bearing on mine and it was able to be polished no problem

What year is the half wrapped evo? 08 has the red taillights, red lcd cluster and the awc switch on the steering wheel. But yours has the colored lcd cluster and awc switch on the steering wheel....

Lol i called it like before you took it apart i said its a valve seal, dont matter if you put new valve seals recently they can go bad, also if i recall intake and exhaust valve seals are slightly different, i bought seals that said for use on intake and exhaust and turns out they are specific to each side or else you will have oil seeping like you just were.

Aren’t you concerned about why your bearings were scored to begin with? That’s a major symptom of an underlying issue. Contaminated oil, excessive heat, poor circulation, blockage...etc.
