A movie about medieval stone masons working on a great cathedral would be amazing
@bobbj944010 күн бұрын
Im pretty sure they had the best tech up to date stuff back then aswell. If you think about it imaginatively in three hundred years they will have lazer guns, or mason guns, or plasma guns and flying suits. Can you believe they used to do this with hammers and chisels, and used physical scaffolding. What primitives.

Why would he make such a facinating project just 4:30 worth of video
@JayCWhiteCloudАй бұрын
@@xndr_mrw Frankly...I think he does these videos just because this is what "his generation" does sometimes but this is not "who he is" nor does it interest him that much...at least not yet (?)...I've been in the traditional arts and the restoration of them since the 60s...I still don't have a cell phone...don't want one either...and taking pictures/videos always seemed rather narcissistic, arrogant and more of a distraction from doing "the craft." The medium is the only testament to be left behind, and this young man's work will be here for centuries...but I do agree, documenting the process of these methods, now that we can do it so well should be done more often than it is but sadly "too many" aren't worth watching...He is certainly the exception!!!
