Happened to me too a few month back with a bolt for coil pack and ground wire on a sunday night. Had to rig something up just so I could go to work the next day. 10min spark plug job turned onto few hour job in the dark.

The engine cover would look awesome in high gloss black or matching the body colour. White might be overwhelming in the engine bay, especially next to the intake manifold and turbo housing. However, white could be an excellent choice for the brake calipers, providing a sharp contrast.

The white turbo and Intake were good ideas, maybe the bay supports in white or the caliper blue? Davis looks pretty calm when he launched the Beemer, all he needs is some seat time. At least HE didn't put it in the fence..................
